Dancing in the rain with Harry Styles (One Shot)

It's the last day of school. 'Finally!' I thought as the bell rang. I quickly ran out of the classroom, Not wanting to stay in this hell hole any longer.

I quickly went out of the gates. Smiling at the guards as i was passing by. Well what can i say, I'm in a good mood!

As i was walking home, the clouds became heavier and darker every second. Resulting to a not-so-heavy rain. Fudge! I did not bring any umbrella.

"Oh fuck it!" I said and dropped all my things on the ground and just enjoyed as the droplets of water descend like little insects on my skin.

I closed my eyes and started twirling myself, spinning around and around. Wow i never knew rain is so much fun!

"Oi! Nerd! What are you doing in the rain?" Someone asked. I opened my eyes and looked at the red mercedes in front of me. I looked at the guy who was driving, Great! It's Harry Styles, the popular jock.

"Just enjoying the rain!" I shouted. "I'm wet anyway!" I just shrugged and continued twirling.

"You're crazy!" He said getting out of his car.

"I know!" I grinned at him. "Why are you getting out?"

"Ehh, might as well enjoy the rain with a crazy-socially-awkward-nerd" He smirked at me then joined me in the rain.

"Geez thanks for pointing that out!" I replied sarcastically.

He suddenly held out his hand, "Wanna dance milady?" He said with his posh voice.

I laughed at his failed attempt to sound 'Posh', "Sure, my good man" I grabbed his hand, he put his arm at my waist while I put my hand on his shoulder.

We danced and joked around for I don't know how long until we noticed that it's getting dark and the rain stopped.

"So, Avie" He bit his lip. "Would you umm like to hang-out tomorrow?" He looked at me hopefully as if telling me to say yes.

"Sure!" I replied cheerfully.

He did the most unexpected thing ever, He kissed me on the cheek!

"I...uh... Gotta go my Mom must be worried" I stuttered with a blush creeping into my cheeks.

"Uh.... Yeah..." He shifted nervously.

Neither of us moved, we just stared at the ground, avoiding eye contact.

"Thank you" I finally said after minutes of awkward silence.

He looked at me, "What for?"

"You know, for spending time with a nerd." I replied shyly and looked at the ground still avoiding eye contact.

He lifted my face so i was facing him. His face was so close to mine, I could feel his breath lingering in my face. I stared into his green orbs which made my breath hitch and my heart beat faster.

"I enjoyed your company and I didn't regret anything." He finally spoke.

I pulled out of his gaze, "So umm meet you here tomorrow?" I asked him.

"Sure!" He smiled at me showing his adorable dimples.

"Okay, bye!" I said jogging to the opposite direction.

"Bye!" He waved his hand and went back to his mercedes and drove away.

I walked home thinking only one thing,

What will ever happen tomorrow?
