Over the river, tossing off towards the bench
We saw it with a smile
We're eager, checking every step
to dance with a sigh.
Not knowing the cause of danger
in us we put our trust
but the end of our travesty
engenders the soul to anger.
And see, we sat together
with this breeze over the river
seeing the autumn fall
in us, light shed its way o'er
Till the last time, it caused us to sever
for this can't continue forvever
but at last, peace has come by
and look! over us, a green leaf flies!
