"When were you going to tell us? You put us all at risk over your own stupidity!" Yep, classic Allura.

"Yeah Lance, what you did back there was uncalled for and unecessary." and Pidge with the support.

"Uh, I hate to agree with them right now buddy, but they have a point. You should have told us you had these uh, powers? I'm not saying, you shouldn't have used them, but you could uh, have warned us at least. I'm just worried about you Lance." Ah, don't sigh like that Hunk, I don't deserve your kind words, I know I messed up.

Yep, its the most popular guy on this ship right now, Lance in the flesh and blood. Let's not interrupt yours truly from getting possibly the worst lecture of his life. But hey, at least it shouldn't be that bad. After all I did save them all, right? Well, I think I did, on second thought, maybe I should have just tried my luck with the retreat.

"Shouldn't have?? He should have never have done that! What he did was reckless even for him." Wow, ouch, cool it down Allura, "We were ordered to retreat and that is exactly what he should have done. It doesn't matter if that was him or his lion, he almost killed us as if we were another Galra solider! He shouldn't have this power, not with how immature, selfish, and idiotic he-"

"What the hell are you trying to say Allura?" Pidge snapped at Allura, "Yes, we almost got caught in.. whatever that was.. but we didn't! He risked his life to put out a blast of that strength and even put himself in danger to protect us from freezing to death! So don't come in here yelling at Lance like that when you don't even fully understand what happened out there. We don't even know whether that was his lion or from his own hand. Nobody knows but Lance and you aren't even giving him the chance to say what he has to say. Are you going to let him talk or are you just going to push him away just like you did to Keith?!" Pidge screamed at Allura, getting closer to her with each question.

Remind me never to get on Pidge's bad side.

Sighing, I stop watching the argument as Hunk now joined in on my behalf. I look up from the floor and lean back on the couch and let out a breath. 'I can see my breath now huh? Well if this isn't a wonderful time to get tense. Its bad enough Allura hates me now, I really don't need to loose my cool and start to freeze the couch to prove her right.' I look across from me where Keith was sitting. He had his elbows on his knees as he rested his hands just in front of his face, staring at me. If his eyes were a weapon, I'm pretty sure I would have two holes right through me right now. I tried to sit up a bit more and soon discovered that was a bad idea as pain ripped through my already weak body. I winced and leaned back down into my chair as tiny crystals of ice formed around what hurt the worst. Not large enough to show, but not small enough to prevent a small shine to form on what was left of my armor. 'All of this time you spent to learn how to control your power and what do you do on your first time Lance?  You use way more than the max of your powers and then go some more to protect your friends, who now hate you may I add, from freezing and shattering into a thousand pieces just like those Galra did. You should have just used enough to pass off as a beam from your lion you idiot-'

I was quickly brought out of my thoughts as Keith sighed and tried to stare further into my soul, dropping his hands to lay between his legs. I stopped my brief worry from him as the now increasing pain took hold of my thoughts. I really needed to get to a pod, but that wouldn't happen anytime soon seeing how the princess deemed it more worthy to yell at me than to heal me. Going back to the rather heated conversation, I missed what Hunk had to say.

"N-no! I would never-" Allura stuttered glancing to Keith with a sigh,"I would never do that again, and I shouldn't have done that to Keith in the first place. It tore at our team and I almost caused us to fail our mission....." Fading from what she was saying a bit, I started to really feel what was in pain, well, more of what wasn't.

Everything was hurting, my hand, feet, legs, arms, everything, and what was hurting the most was the bitter sweet numbness that was slowly filling my chest. 'Oh, you really did it this time buddy.' I knew I had went over what I could physically handle when I fired that blast, but I didn't think it would be this bad. My toes are numb along with my hands and lower legs, and soon, it would spread up into the cold in my chest. I probably have maybe, a half hour or so? Realistically, I have less time so I hope whatever Keith is looking for, tells him that I need to be in a pod or I might actually freeze myself to death.

Hunk seemed to quickly chime into Allura's statement. "Then why are you doing it to Lance now. I agree that what he did was a little reckless, but I also understand it was out of necessity. All of us know that we wouldn't have made it out of their if we didn't think of something. He was only looking out for the team and now both of you are are only making it worse on him." He finished looking down at Keith, glaring a bit.

Ironic, if only he knew that to save four people from freezing, I would end up freezing myself. Sometimes I wonder if I should have told them sooner, that I would have told them as soon as I found out but I honestly don't regret it. I only regret having to tell them through my actions and not being able to sit them down as a family and address the issue. Realistically, I should have told Hunk that I didn't feel right as soon as we hit the planet via the worm hole. Honestly though, I didn't even know anything was wrong until just a few weeks before we made contact with the Blade and Ulaz. None of that matters anymore as I tune back into the conversation at hand, letting my head fall back agents the couch, letting out another frosty breath, not caring that I had missed the whole argument.

"No, I deserve it guys." I said finally breaking my silence since the battle. Needless to say they were all surprised to hear me. "It was stupid and reckless, but I do not regret what I did and I would do it again if I ha-" I cut off a cough feeling the pain being replaced by even more cold. "Had to... Yes, I should have told you but I was worried that I would get the same scenario that happened to Keith so I kept my mouth sh-shut." This time I wasn't so lucky and the cough tore through me as I clamped my hands around my mouth. Chunks of ice fell out of my mouth and my hands as I sat back and looked at everyone's worried faces. Even Keith's stare had turned to a look of concern. "N.. Now, if you would like to hear my tragic hero backstory, you might want to get me to a pod right now before my body freezes itself." I manage to get out before everything turned a very crisp black.
