Sometimes I envie  the stars
As they shine brighter each night
For those who have nothing but darkness
But then I'm greatful that I'm not
With this race of humans to look down on
Who have not yet learned to share
As wars break lose
More times than we care to admit
Killing without a second thought
Then preaching about how we have revolved
But yet women are still treated as objects
And skin colour and religion still define us
As Muslims are treated as terrorists
Just because of the wrong doing of others
And people of colour  like they are criminals ,or don't deserve to walk this earth
Letting history repeat it's self but each year
We claim that this toady is better than yesterday
But in fact that is wrong for the more humans crave for power
The closer we are to casing or distraction
As we build weapons faster than we build house
Help the less fortunate or school to educate
And it sadness me to that the issue of the past will never go away
Or that my children will live in a world much scarier than
The one we live in today
As everything starts to disappear
Like the sunset except there'll be no tomorrow
To wake up to
So maybe a star was not the best choice
But I don't think there ever will be
Until the day we humans no longer walk this earth
