" Y/n, get me some food!" Kuro demanded. He was laying on the couch, playing his video games. you sighed and asked, "What do you want?" "Anything. I'm starving!" Kuro spoke, leaning his head over the edge of the couch. You opened the pantry and got out two bags of chips. One for me, and one for Kuro.
"Here you go," you said, handing Kuro a bag of chips. He quickly looks at me and says, "Thanks." He continues to play his game while you sit there and watch him.
After an hour of watching Kuro play his game, he suddenly stops and turns off the TV. "Hey, Y/n?" You look at him and ask, " What is it, Kuro?" He looks at you and asks, "What is it like to be only human?" You look at him questioning. "Why would you want to know?" I ask back. Kurt stares at the ceiling and responds, "I don't know. I just never thought about being human. I mean, it looks like your life is easier than mine." You think for a moment, then say, "I don't know how to describe it. It's like being vampire without the blood and flying and having to an Eve. You just live like you are the only type of people in the world. People didn't think things like vampires existed, so we never thought about it feels like to be something else besides human."
It takes a while for Kuro to process that, but once he does, he says, "Man. It must be a pain to be human."
After a while, you go to your room and try to go to sleep. It hard because you're so used to having a small room, but now since you moved into a temporary apartment a week ago with Kuro, it's been hard. You toss and turn in bed, but nothing seems to make you sleep. You were about to give up on forcing yourself to sleep, you hear the door open and close. You feel this weight on the side of the bed. You look over your shoulder and saw that Kuro was sitting on the edge of your bed.
"Having trouble sleeping?" he asks. You look back at the wall and nod. A second later, Kuro transforms into a cat and he crawls into bed with you. He makes himself comfortable and cuddles with you, rubbing his fur on your cheek. You blush slightly and you cuddle him back. He slowly falls asleep after that, and you do too.
