Alex POV

I walk to my mom's hospital room I look at her she is awake I walk in and that's when she saw me

"Alex.... Hi"She said stretching her hand I walk to her holding her hand and I sat down on a chair that was next to her bed.

"Why you never told me??" I asked with tears on my eyes

"When they told me about my sickness you were like 15 and I didn't want to worry you" She said

"Mom I'm sorry for leavin-"

"It not your fault it was mine. I never meant that. You are my everything Alex" She said and the doctor walk in

"Grace as you see you have cancer and you have to take a therapy in London. We just called one of the doctors and they said if you can be there in like a month???" He said

"Yeah is fine" My mom said

The doctor walk out and she just stare at me

"You need to finish school" My mom said

"But mom" I said

"Alex I want you to go to prom amd graduate" She said

"But I don't if you are not there with me" I said

"After that you can go to London but not now" She said

"Shawn...." She said and I turn around he was standing on the door way.

"Hi... Umm... Wendy is here" He said

"Shawn can I talk to you??" My mom asked

"Well I leave you guys alone"I said walking out

Shawn POV

"Sit down please" Alex's mom said

I sat down where Alex was sitting.

"Shawn I want to apologize when I called you an asshole" She said

"Is alright I mean you were mad at me because of what I did to your daughter" I said

"And she told me that some guys cheat on her" She said

"Yeah her ex boyfriend Jack Gilinsky cheat on Alex with Jade" I said

"Jade and Alex used to be best friends" She said

"Yeah I know but I don't know why they hate eachother now" I said

We stay silence for a moment and then she grab my hand.

"Shawn promise me you are going to love Alex as much as I do no matter what" she said

"You are a nice kid Shawn no like Jack that he cheat on her"She said

"Alex.... Hi.... I'm sorry about you mom" Wendy said hugging me I hug her back and I start crying on her shoulder.

"Is ok I'm here now"she said hugging me tighter

2 weeks later

My mom is in her room with my dad I'm with Aaliyah in my room and Shawn is on his way to my house.

"Alex can I tell you something??" Aaliyah asked me

"Yeah sure" I said sitting on my bed and she sat down next to me

"Ok.... Umm..... I can't go to school anymore" She said

"Why??" I asked

"Alex I can't be here anymore I will get in trouble with my parents and Shawn" She said
