Ch.7: Stupid Thoughts!!

(-Alex pov-)

I shook the bottle of pills in my hand, I knew theses pill were the only thing holding my mind together. 'I need her to stay away from me so these feelings can stop.' Gripping the pills tightly, I threw them off the roof with all my might. 'Now I just gotta wait two weeks before I can get my sanity back.!' I sighed and walked to the edge of the roof, looking down at this height felt peaceful. Spreading my wings and letting the slight breeze cool them made me relax enough to step off the roof, soaring down my wings caught the draft needed to lift me. The others that were bound to the earth looked up at my figure in envy and amazement. Most demons my age could barely fly if they had wings, but they mainly flot or teleport. Flying made me feel a bit more at peace, taking the time to see where you're going but not limited to a slow pace. I felt more in control... gross I sound like dad! Flying for a few minutes made me get back into a calmer mindset and land in the garden. The animals around looked at me then went back to minding the own simple business. I sat down in the dirt and decaying plant matter, I could feel the way the plants swayed in the breeze. Little people know this but plants also have souls, they're gentle yet strong like her... "AGGGHHH GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!"

I got everything from my 5th class as I couldn't help but smile and giggle at the thought of Alex. I didn't know I was floating/flying until I crashed into my locker. "Owie.." I sighed and got back on the ground as I opened my locker door and put all of my textbooks in. "Well well well~" I knew that voice too well. It was Jenny's voice, I sighed in relief. "a little monkey told me about you and a demon by the name Alex being alone together in the library!~" my whole face went crimson as I close my locker. "I-i don't know what you're talking about! I wasn't with her! All she did was get a book and walked out!" I said, trying to sound confident. "Oh really?~ how come you're blushing??~" "I-it's hot in here! I-i get warm easily!" "Well my little monkey said other wise and has proof!~" Jenny teased as she grabbed her phone and showed of pictures of me and Alex. My whole face grew darker as I looked away quietly. Now I was DEFINITELY going to be question about it! "So want to start telling the truth?~" she asked while smirking. I just sighed and gave up. "Fine.!" After a long explanation Jenny patted my back, "Now how hard was that? Now I understand why you love her and why she loves you!" my face became a dark shade of red as I sigh. "Just don't tell anyone Jenny! Please this is very important!" I told her in a nervous tone. "Don't worry Julie! Your secret is safe with me and Momo!" Jenny giggled as she walked away. "Have a good night!" I smile and walked to the exit of the school. I notice Alex as my smile became even bigger. "Bye Alex! have a amazing night!" I said in a cheerful voice as I waved to her. She didn't even look my way. I was a little confused but she probably had headphones in. I flapped my wings and flew to my house as my neighbor Dave came out. "Good afternoon Julie!" "Good afternoon Dave!" Dave was a zombie but he could make good music and my neighbor to my right was named Leslie, she was a cool neko and i always helped her on the weekends with her math and science homework. "So what are you doing tonight?" He asked. "Nothing just going to lay in bed and watch some TV! Anyway see ya!!" I quickly ran into my house. I was honestly very happy that Alex did care about me. It made my heart fluttered and do a million flips. I feed Miya and cleaned up my house. After I was done, I sat down on my bed and watched Yaoi on Ice. It was a great show about these two girls ice skating together and falling in love!! 'Awww!!! They almost kissed!!' I watched the rest of the episode as I sighed. 'I wonder what Alex's lips feel like? they probably feel warm and smooth!!!' i thought as I blushed madly and covered my face with a pillow. 'stop daydreaming about it!! Alex is just your friend!!..a very beautiful smart friend..!'

"AHHHHH!!!! BE GONE EMBARRASSING THOUGHTS!!!"

'Okay first day without my pills, nothing feels off!' I was still a little nervous that I might go off the edge but it shouldn't be too bad. Slipping on some jeans and huge shirt with my flats, I slipped out the door. It was saturday so Aunt Lauren wouldn't be worried if she didn't see me all day, after all it was normal of me to disappear or hide in my room a day. I just felt like taking a stroll because it was cool enough and... well I wanted to. As I walked out the door, I notice our new neighbors. The house had been empty for years but I guess some family was dumb enough to move in. A mom, had to be in her late 30's, father, early 40's, and two snot nose rats. They couldn't have been older than ten. Great, more noise, I never liked little kids anyways. I walked past the house just to be nosy, as I did I noticed another figure. They stepped out out of the moving van with a masculine built, he was tall and had an odd scent. It wasn't like the rest of the family, he must have been adopted but he fit the the others perfect. It was a family of Nymphs and the boy was a Phoenix, I could smell his rebirth. I walked past without getting noticed until I heard an "Excuse me!" Well I was noticed by the smallest child, turning around and staring at the little one. Looking at me with curiosity and wonder they spoke, "Are you a mean demon or a nice one??" The mother gasped and pulled the child back, the father walked over with embarrassment and amusement. "I'm sorry, they but get to meet others often!", he tried to explain as I watched the mother scold the little one. The second blood watched the mother as I then walked so me and the father. "This one-" placing and hand on the girl's head, "is Amanda and the youngest is Ayayo" he said as he put his hand on the other girl's head as they both stared up at me. "I'm sorry about them! They're actually pretty nice and kind!" I turned to the Phoenix guy as he smiled at me. "Hey I'm Akihiko! What's your name miss?" He asked as he grabbed my hand and kissed it. My face flustered as I sweated slightly. "A-Alex!" "What a lovely name for a lovely demon like yourself!" He said as his voice was smooth like silk. I pulled my hand away as I looked away. "Th-Thank you Akihiko!" I tried to calm my nerves but he came into my eyesight. "How about we go have lunch sometime?" He asked as I was thinking about it. 'if I have lunch with him, I could stay away from Julie and maybe these damn annoying feelings will go away!!' I smiled at him and nodded.
