Violet runs rather un-gracefully towards her cousin, the skin-crawling gaze of the clown still etched into her mind.
"Georgina! Where have you been?" She calls, coming to a halt next to her, she wastes no time in linking her arm with her cousin.
"I've been looking every where for you, you wouldn't believe what-""Relax, Vi." Georgina interrupts. "I was looking at the rides. And... I saw Greg." She mutters the last part, but Violet heard her loud and clear. Georgina has had a crush on Greg Matthews since primary school, he was a few years older and incredibly handsome with his bouncy blond locks and blue eyes.
Violet chuckles. "Okay, so what ride is he in line for?"
Georgina shuffled her feet nervously, before mumbling just loud enough for Violet to hear. "The rollercoaster."
"Oh no. No, no." Violet shakes her head frantically. "You know I'm terrified of rollercoasters!"
"Please Vi, he's waiting for us to come back. He's bound to be near the front of the line by now." Georgina begs.
Violet sighs, there was no way she was getting on that rollercoaster. "Why don't you two just go together?"
"Because I came here to spend the day with you. I don't want to leave you by yourself."
"It's fine." Violet assured. She could manage to spend some time alone so her cousin could finally make a move on the boy she's been obsessing over for years.
"I don't mind, really. You go on.""You sure?" Georgina asks, a glint of hope in her eyes.
"Yes, I'm sure. Now go get your man."
Georgina rolls her eyes at her older cousins comment but happily skips away towards the rides, quickly lost in the crowd.
Without really thinking about what she was doing, Violet headed back towards the tent where she last saw him. He was no longer outside.
Tossing what was left of her candy-apple in the trash she hesitantly entered the tent, pulling back the curtain and stepping inside.
The tent was basically empty, besides a dozen or so dusty boxes and old, flickering fairy lights that hung from the tent ceiling.
An uneasy feeling washes over Violet as she realises how creepy this tent actually is.
Scratchy classical circus music plays on an old record player in the far corner, opposite Violet. It's like something out of a horror movie. As her nerves get the better of her, and no clown in sight, she decides she should probably leave.
Until she hears a gravelly voice from behind her.
"Hiya."She whips around quickly, seeing the tall clown looming over her. An unnerving smile on his face.
"Um... h-hi." She stutters, anxiety creeping through her as well as... something else, a feeling that has her silently cursing herself.
"Im Pennywise, the dancing clown." He giggles, rocking side to side. His eyes burned, an orange-yellow like hellfire. "What's your name?" He tilts his abnormally large head, looking down at her.
"Violet." She mumbles.
His smiles grows, unnerving her further. Yet his close proximity sends a familiar warmth to spread through her. The same warmth she felt when she first saw him, that same warmth she felt when... no, don't even go there.
"Do you want to float, Violet?" He whispered, barely loud enough for her to hear.
Before she could ask what he meant he grabbed her arm, twisting her body around so that her back was flush against his chest. His arms wrapped tightly around Violet, not allowing her to move even an inch. His cold cheek pressed against her own hot one.
"W-what are you doing? Stop!" She demanded, trying to pull away to no avail.
Goosebumps lined her arms and neck as she felt him inhale deeply into her hair.
A low growl erupted from his throat, and as much as it sickened her, Violet could feel a light dampness starting to spread in her panties.
The clown gripped her tighter, rutting his nose into every curve of her he could get to from this position, trying to track down that deliciously sweet scent that's tainting her fear, the same scent he had smelt that night in her room, whatever it was, it was intoxicating, something he's never smelt before in his centuries of life."Violet!"
Georgina's call comes from outside the tent and before Violet can react, Pennywise's warmth is gone from her body. She turns around slowly, the clown nowhere to be seen.
Violet sighs in relief. But she can't deny that a part of her desperately wants to see Pennywise the dancing clown again.• • •
