On a cold Autumn day, Rema and Magic invite their friends to a mansion via secret letters. Magic and Rema know everyone, but not everyone knows eachother. When the people drive up, they're impressed by the large house. They have dinner first so that everybody meets in the dining room. Looking suspiciously around, the guests try to figure out who sent them the invitations. The dinner is chilli with toppings of cheese, green onions, oyster crackers, sour cream, fritos, and other things. It's a cold, crisp, November, and the trees have changed into beautiful reds, oranges, yellows, and dark greens. Smaller groups of friends, talk amongst themselves. "This is like a haunted house." Tara says to Autumn. "We could have used it last month for a Halloween party." She adds. "It's so obvious." Jacob thinks, smirking.Flirtatious glances are exchanged. Magic tries not to look at either of her crushes. "It sucks having a crush on friends." She thinks. After they eat, they explore the large home. Tony discovers a room with a pool table and challenges Pete to a game. Phylicia and Zach, find a ballroom. Phylicia begins doing the waltz going deeper into the dark room. Zach clings to the door. Magic finds a library. Rema finds a book, sits down and reads it, while Magic just browses. Eeco sees a piano, sits, and begins playing. Others drink in the study. Hearing the piano makes it seem more creepy, echoing through-out the mansion. The door bell rings. "Oh hexx, nah!" Tatted gets the creeps. Blake gets the door. A man with a flat tire has no range on his cell phone, so he calls someone on the lounge phone, which has a wire. The group heads to the study where they find a game of "I've Never" cards. Chris T., the youngest, reads a card first. Everyone has a drink whether it's alcoholic or not, and drink or not drink, according to the game rules. "This is a creepy place." The intruder thinks, waiting for a truck. "All these college aged people and it's oddly quiet." "I've never done a three-way kiss." Meera reads the card. The people who have, jump up and down for 30 seconds.
When the tow truck comes, the intruder leaves, banging the door. Everyone in the study jumps, then laughs. "How many of you are going to try these out later?" Ants wonders. Joker raises her hand making David shake his head. "I've never been kicked out of a bar." Josh reads. Some drink. "You haven't done anything have you?" Ants talks to Magic and Rema. Biting her lip, Magic shakes her head no. A candlestick falls making everyone turn and/or get up. "Is this place haunted?" JohnnyVic worries. "The haunted mansion." Katie chuckles. Phylicia joins her laughter. "Hey, ..." Zakir smirks, "let's split up!" People laugh, but Joey doesn't think it's funny. They walk to the doorway and look left to right. Some how people do end up in smaller groups. Rema, Magic, Jacob, Chris T., Ziggy, Ants, David, Pete, Miguel, and Jhace, go upstairs. One of the Tony's, Hales, Autumn, Tom, Tara, Kelly, Moreen, Pamela, and Devin, are another group. "We should link arms." Tara jokes. A few minuets later, "Lions and tigers and bears. Oh my!" Moreen, Pamela, and Autumn chant, skipping towards the ballroom. Rema laughs but stays close to Magic who stays close to Jacob. Suddenly, the power goes out. Girls gasp and guys arms get clutched. The lights pop back on and guys try to act as if they weren't scared, comforting the girls. David frowns that Magic chose Jacob to cling on too, then blinks the idea of being jealous away. Val and Phylicia, grabbed Joey and Johny, then straighten up when the power comes back on. JohnnyVic holds on to Katie scared, but insists he's helping her. Eeco smirks at Joanne, who was on Chris W.'s arm. Everybody moves to the front entry, then the kitchen, realizing that they're paired up wrong. Being with friends or a spouse, would just add to the scariness, being no help at all. Ziggy's arm drifts around Magic's shoulder, as they decide who should change groups. She glances at his hand, then looks at him. He smiles, she squints. With David raising an eyebrow at them, he slowly moves his arm.
