Prologue-
Karen Nightfall an 18 year old girl who have abusive parents which makes her really hard on trusting someone.She always get beaten up but she doesn't fight because she thought that that's the way they show their love to her even though that they don't love her she made herself believe it.She has a beautiful personality which match with her looks but sometimes people can't see it.She always hide her self from everyone by always wearing a hoodie and big jeans that seem really big on her.She always fantasized herself finding her own knight in armor saving her but that was soon gone from her mind because who would want a girl with so many scars on her body.That's what she thought until someone prove her wrong.
James Anderson a 20 year old guy that work as a substitute teacher but he also work as a mafia gang leader.All of his life he was never shown what it was meant by love or to be loved because both of his parents died in a plane crash when he was just a toddler.Because of that he become ruthless and emotionless.In the mafia world he was called 'the Devil' because of his personality and his rules of having no sympathy when killing his victim.He thought that love was meaningless and that'll make him go weak but that'll change.
