Renesmee trailed her fingers over the piano tails producing a heavenly sound. That melody made the young vampire remember how Edward, who still had a special place in her heart for himself, used to teach her how to play lullabies.
But, unfortunately, those good moments did not become a tradition. A few months later they left those treasures buried in the rooms of the house once they moved away.
Renesmee jumped on the sofa relaxing her body. Looking around, she wondered how would she blend in the tiny town, and what would happen if she does not fix this situation with Jacob. She had already finished high school in Mystic Falls, but never went to collage to get a proper education, so it would be very hard to get a normal job. Normally, if she had never argued with Jacob, he would've helped. But now, the only thing she had was an anormous abandoned house.
But Renesmee knew something had to be done. She also knew, that she would never get anything done, if she just sat around doing nothing. She jumped up, and went to explore whatever was left of the Cullen heirloom.

This will do the thing.
Renesmee found a key to the underground garage, and after entering it, she was met with a surprise. There was black jeep parked inside.
Renesmee swung it's door to releave a black interior. It looked as it was never used. She knew that Emmett and Rosalie were car junkies so keeping their car clean was probably important.
Okay, so I have a car, and some money, but still not enough. I might need to get a job.
She grabbed the car keys that were hidden on the inside and rewed the engine. She smiled to herself, she could do this on her own.
She drove back to the town, searching for a mall. After few minutes of searching around the town, she saw a huge parking lot in front a huge building. Yeah, that was a mall. Renesmee spotted few teenage girls walking out with shopping bags in their hands.
Definitely the mall, they wouldn't be as happy if it was the library.
Renesmee exited the car, locked it and entered the mall. It was not very crowded, which shocked the young vampire. But then again, Forks was a small town, with no many people around.
Once she saw the colorful interior she almost squealed of joy. There were many boutiques. She was ready to shop!
She tried on many outfits, and after what it felt like hours, she was ready to pay. Behind the counter stood a red- head girl in her twenties. The girl smiled sweetly at Renesmee.
"That would be 50$. Great style by the way. You could totally teach others how to dress." The girl said pointing to the girl that had just entered the boutique. She was wearing a crop top that was threatening to show her nipples. Renesmee followed her stare and cringed.
Why do some girls like to look like prostitutes?
"Thanks. It is my dream job to do what you do tho." Renesmee said taking out the money.
"Then you totally should. I am leaving for college in few weeks. I'll recommend you to my boss."
Renesmee smiled writing down her mobile number down on the paper she found on the counter.
"I'm Renesmee."
"Alex."

Renesmee walked outside with her hands full of shopping bags. She unlocked the jeep and opened the trunk putting the shopping inside.
She heard someone sneaking around her and with a flash, she grabbed a pocket knife that was laying in the trunk and stabbed a person. The boy instantly groaned in pain. She took of the hoodie off his head revealing Seth's face. Renesmee immediately took the knife out of his flesh.
"What the fuck Seth?! Why are you sneaking around me?!"
"I wasn't sneaking around."
"No, it was my grandfather Mikael who died years ago. Sure, whatever Seth." She huffed angrily.
"Gee, Renesmee, I'm sorry for your loss." Seth said scratching the back of his neck. He was getting nervous.
"Shut up Seth. What do you want anyway?" She hissed still mad about his sudden appearance.
"Have you seen Jake?" He asked climbing into the jeep just as the young vampire requested. Renesmee felt her heart rate speed up in the mention of Jacob's name. She rewed the engine speeding off the parking lot.
"Not since last night. What's wrong?" She took her glance off of the road for a moment to study Seth's face.
"So, this morning after breakfast it was Jake's and my turn to go check the borders of the pack territory. When I came to his place, he wasn't there. Then I checked the woods, I haven't found him. I am getting worried."
Renesmee's grip on the steering wheel tightened as she listened to Seth's constant babble. She couldn't help but care for Jacob and to blame herself for his sudden disappearance.
"Why are you even here? Have you checked at his baby momma's house?" Renesmee asked sensing bitterness in her own voice. Seth looked away from the road, facing her pissed off face. Shock was plastered all over his expression, but with a clear of throat, he shook all the nervousness and shock away.
"So you've heard. I'm truly sorry, Renesmee. Jacob cares about you, I just thought that he would want his child to grow up with the woman he loves. Leah is my sister, but Jacob hates her guts. I do not know how this even happened."
"You do not have to be sorry Seth, and neither should any of them be. Congratulations on becoming an uncle tho. But when it comes to raising that child as my own, no thanks. I do not want to be anyone's stepmother, Jacob knows that. Anyway, I am too young to raise any child." She keeps rambling the thoughts flowing around her mind as Seth keeps being the best listener ever. She pulls up on the parking lot of the Cullen ressidence.
Seth opened the truck mumbling an I'll help you. Renesmee smiled in return as the two walked full handed in the house.
