Ch. 12 (Problems)

My alarm went off. Ugh Mondays...

"Cam" I shook him

"Cameron" h was really deep sleeper

"Cameron Dallas!" I pushed him off the bed

"OW!" HE yelled

"What the heck?!" he looked up at me

"You weren't waking up so I pushed you. Now get up we have school today" I said getting up and going to the bathroom.

I took a quick shower and then did my everyday makeup and did beach curls to my hair. I walked out and got dressed. I put on a black dress with sunflowers all over and a white long-sleeve cardigan and put black sandals on .

I graves my backpack and walked down stairs for breakfast.

I saw cam all dressed and Gina making breakfast

"Goodmorning" I said sitting down on the stool next to cam

"Goodmorning sweetheart" Gina said walking over with two plates with bacon, eggs and a blueberry muffin

"Goodmorning" cam said smiling at me. I smiled back

"Andrea have you talked to your mom at all?" Gina asked

"Um no I haven't" I said taking out my phone

I checked for new calls, voicemails and texts

But nothing....

That's not like my mom

"Excuse me I am going to call my mom" I said getting up

I walked out back and dialed my moms number and put the phone up to my ear.

Ring... Ring...

"Hello?" my mom answered

"Hi mom" I said

"Oh hi Andrea"

"Why haven't you called or texted me since I talked from the hospital?"

"I have been busy darling. But are you ok? feeling better?"

How could my own mother not take time to wonder if I am ok? Do I not matter to her?

"I am better thanks" I said sarcastic

"Hey don't get an attitude with me! I have been to busy with everything! I am sorry I didn't call you Andrea but you have to understand that if don't do my job then-"

"We won't have a roof over our heads. I get it I have heard you say that a million times already" I cut her off

"I am not in the mood to fight ok! I will be home at 7:00pm"

"See then" I sighed and hung up.

I don't want to talk to her anymore. I am tired of her defending herself with stupid excuses. She never really cares about me. She would always work and I would always I over to Riley's house because she was two doors down. They were like a family I never had. I would sleep over and my mother wouldn't even notice I was gone. It really isn't that fun not having a mother and farther. I wish my mom and I had a better relationship but every time I try he yells at me. So I am done! Once this year is over I am moving out. Maybe to chino hills in the mountains. I don't know I have one more year.

I walk back inside and cam looks at me

"You ok?" he asks

"Ya" I lie

"Ok well we are going to be late for school" he says walking to the door

"Thank you for breakfast" I say to Gina

"Your welcome love" she says

The was silent then cam broke it

"Are you sure everything's ok?" he a asks

"Kinda" I says

"What's wrong? I can tell something is upsetting you" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me close

"Well my mom doesn't even care that I hurt myself and when I ask her why hasn't she called or texted me she brings up the same excuse she has been using for years. Which is that if she doesn't do her work we won't have a roof over our heads. I know it's true but why can't she have a little time for me" I say

"I am sorry Andrea I don't know how that feels to have a mom like that but just know that I will always be here for you" he says stoping and turning to me

"Always" he says then leans in and kiss me. Kiss back

He pulled away and looks into my eyes then we continue to walk to school

We walk into first period and I see Rachel in there with her snobby friends.

They don't bother me through the whole period which is surprising.

Lunch went by fast nothing really happened just laughing and joking around.

Cam had to go straight to his next period so he didn't get mark tarty

I walk over to my locker and put some books away. I turn my head a little and see Rachel and her followers but I see she has more now. I saw the two new girls were and I could not believe my eyes.....
