Chapter 1

"Luca! Get your ass down here!" The care taker yelled. I trudged down the steps slowly. I would have stayed in bed, but then she would've just kept calling my name like the pest she is.

Oh excuse me, I'm Luca Manchester and I live in Fiora. It's filled with magic, but some people take it to heart and makes a living out of it. I have magic, but no one knows about it except the care taker, whose name is Morgan. She's the one who found me and for some strange reason took me in.

I don't know why, but I'm grateful for it, but you see I'm kinda bipolar so what I said earlier was a big fat lie. You see, when I wake up you don't want to mess with me or I will flip a bitch, but for now toodles.

"Coming!" I yell as I make my way down the stairs. As I reach the bottom of the stairs I see a very small man that is going bald standing next to Morgan. "What's up." I say looking down at the man.

"Well, this man is the guild master of the local Fairy Tail guild and needs to speak to you," She paused for a moment. "About how I found you." She says with a low tone because the other kids are in the other room.

"Great." I mumble. I don't want to talk about this right now, but I guess I have to. "How about we go up to my room where it's more private?" I say with a fake smile.

"Look here boy I just want to know were Erza went." My gaze hardens, "What do you want with my mother you old fool?"

A look of surprise crosses his face, but is replaced instantly with suspicion, "What did you just say boy?"

"Well first off my name is Luca, nice to meet you." My voice dripping with sarcasm, "Second I said what do you want with my mother?" I say slowly, emphasizing every word.

"So Luca," he says emphasizing my name, you're saying Ezra is your mother?"

"Yes Erza Scarlet is my mother."
