Chapter 4

Kelly POV
I was in the hospital when suddenly Shay woke up. I immediately called Gabby. 'Gabby, you need to come to the hospital now.' 'Why? What happened?' 'It's Shay, she woke up.' 'Okay, I'm coming.' I walked back to Shay's bed and she was opening her eyes. 'Kelly? Where am I. 'you're in the hospital, we had a car accident.' 'Wait what? A car accident? Was there anybody hurt besides me?' ' No but you need to stay calm. You need to rest, you just were in a coma for weeks.' I said with a worried voice. 'My head hurts a lot' 'yeah, I know. You had a bad concussion. But I'm glad you still remember me.' 'Oh please Kelly, you know I will never forget you right?' 'I know and Gabby's coming to, I told her you're awake and she wanted to see you.' 'Gabby? Who's Gabby?' I was shocked when she said that. 'You don't remember Gabby? She's been your best friends for years now.' 'No, I don't remember her at all.' And then Gabby walked inside. 'Euhm sorry but who are you because you don't look like a nurse.' Shay said and I saw Gabby was confused. 'Shay, I'm Gabby. Your best friend.' 'I'm sorry but I don't remember you.'

Gabby POV
Shay said she doesn't remember me. I don't get it. We're best friends for years now. I walked to her bed. 'Shay please.' 'No, stay away from me, I don't know you.' I couldn't handle this so I walked outside. I was running to the exit, crying, when I suddenly saw Matt. He saw me and came to me. 'Gabby what's wrong. Why are you crying?' 'It's Shay, she said she doesn't remember me.' I said to him while I was still crying. 'What? Come on we're going to ask her doctor about it.' We talked with Shay's doctor and he said that's just permanently. It's because of her concussion. So that means I can't she her until she remembers me. 'Matt, can you please stay with me tonight?' 'yeah, of course.' 'Thanks.' We went to my place and sat on the couch with me in his arms. 'I can't believe she doesn't remember me.' 'babe, don't worry, the doctor said she will remember everything again in maybe a couple days.' We watched tv a little bit and then we went to bed but I couldn't sleep. 'You can't sleep huh?' Matt asked to me. 'No, not really.' he wrapped his arms around me. 'Everything will be okay, just don't think about it too much.' He said to me and that made me a little more confident about it. And then I fell asleep.
