Aaron's PoV

"Please... Robert please say this ain't true..." I shoved my phone in his face, he grabbed if off me. "Aaron I know nothing about this!" He raised his voice at me, how dare he after Adam found an article about a break in at the old warehouse, with the prime suspect having the same features as Robert. "Yea right." I muttered under my breathe hoping he wouldn't hear. He clearly head me as he grabbed me by the wrist with a strong grip... "Get off!" He didn't let go, I pushed him away "I told you to get off!" "Whatever" he walked out. I waited atleast 10 minuets before leaving our newly built house, I drove down to the pub.

"Pint please mum... and a bag of cheese and onion." I asked my mum who was on shift behind the bar, I sat on a bar stool on the bar. I looked around me scanning around for familiar faces, there were a few regulars, Pete was sitting down with ross in a corner, Gerry and Liv were with Gabby and Bernice in a booth and there were random people scattered around the pub. No Robert. Mum gave me my order, I thanked her, then Liv sat next to me. Great.

"What's with the grumpy mug?" My younger sister said. "Take a guess" "you and Robert fell out?" I nodded "He's an idiot but so are you... your practically made for each other! I'll talk to him." I giggled at the thought of Liv being Cupid "What are you gonna say?" I raised my eyebrows "I'll think about it..." "Yea.. you do that, don't mess stuff up" she stood up "trust me I will" she walked back over to Gerry and Gabby, Bernice had left whilst Liv and I spoke.

After a few pints and three bags of crisps mum finally asked what was up... "You never come in here alone... where's Mr Sugden?" Uhh I hate when she talks about him like that, "Honestly mum, I don't know... we kind of fell out" that's when Diane ran in...

"Aaron thank god your here, it's Robert he's been in an accident, he's going to hospital now." My face dropped, tears shot into my eyes. "I need to get down there-" my mum cut me off, "I'll take you son, you've been drinking and you're in shock, Diane I'll take you too." "Aww thank you pet" we rushed into mums car, mum driving and I sat in the back to let Diane in the front, I didn't care where I sat as long as Robert was ok.

The car journey was long, boring and silent. No one knew what to say as we didn't know how bad he was. I texted Liv to tell her to stay with Bernice and Gabby until I was back, I told her to stay out of trouble because I know how she gets when she's stressed. Her and Robert had always got along, but only when me and Robert were together, during arguments it's was clear she couldn't stand him.

We pulled up, I jumped out the car and ran in. I didn't wait around for mum and Diane.

"I'm looking for... Robert Sugden... he was involved in an accident." The woman typed very slowly on the computer, "Will you hurry-" she cut me off "how do you spell smuggen?" "Sugden, it's S. U. G. D. E. N" I spelt it out to her. She pointed down the corridor and said "room 27" I thanked her quickly and sped down the corridor to room 27, I peered through the window. I sighed in relief after I saw that he was awake, I went in and sat down. "Hey, what happened?" "I was crossing the road and a van just came out of nowhere, the next thing I knew I woke up in the ambulance connected to wires and machines. It was horrible" I held his hand trying to comfort him, he let go. I stared at him confused "So, what's next for us?" "Um... well... Aaron... I need to tell you something..." "Yea what is it?" "I sort of... slept with-" no! "Who?" Who's this scumbag? "Chrissies sister Rebecca..." woah did he just say Rebecca... Rebecca White?! "Mate.. I'm sor-" "DONT! I really don't want to hear it!" "There's something else..." oh no what now. Is she preggas "I kind of got her pregnant." "No... Robert please say this isn't true." "I'm so sorry.." "save it" I walked out, past Diane and mum who had coffees in their hands.

I got the bus home, went for a run and later I took his stuff to Diane's, before she got back from the hospital.
