Elle's P.O.V
"Wow, it sure is crowded!" I gasped looking around the bar. The music was more upbeat tonight, drawing you to the dance floor where a mass of bodies were swaying to the melody.
"Come on girls!" Lukas chuckled throwing an arm around Juliette and I and towing us towards the bar.
"I'm driving." I said firmly, sitting myself on the bar stool.
"Two cherry cokes and a shot of Smirnoff." Juliette called to the barman who was wiping the top of the bar clean.
"You and your cherry cokes!" Lukas smirked shaking his head. He showed his I.D to the barman and handed the money over.
"Thanks Lukas." Juliette took a glass and handed the other to me.
"I'm off!" Lukas yelled before practically diving into the sea of dancing people.
"He's on the pull tonight." I laughed as I shook my head and sipped my drink.
Despite myself, I found my eyes searching the bar, desperate to find his beautiful face. I could feel Juliette looking at me knowingly.
"Any sign of him?" Juliette asked hopefully. She got up and pulled her black silk dress up so it covered her bra before sitting back on the stool.
"No." I sighed trying to ignore the bubble of disappointment in my stomach. A small part of me had been so excited to see him again and I was angry for letting myself get worked up. "That dress is too big for you isn't it?"
"He'll turn up." Juliette promised. "Yes. Size 12 was the only one left. I couldn't resist." She groaned. Typical Julilette. I turned to look at her with my eyebrows raised, she looked back at me with a mischievous twinkle in her eye and I began to feel nervous.
"What?" I frowned as she gave me a knowing smile.
"Nothing! I just know you'll see him again!" Juliette giggled, playing with the straw that was sticking out of her glass.
"How can you be so sure?" I scoffed. She was just winding me up.
"Because he hasn't stopped staring at you since we walked over here!" Juliette laughed motioning behind me.
"What?!" I gasped, spinning around on the stool. I was immediately trapped in a pair of gorgeous eyes, the eyes I had been picturing all day. They were the colour of brilliant seas. The green was as enchanting as emeralds with a soft blue surrounding the pupil. I noticed in the blinding flashing lights that he was wearing a pair of jeans and a dark blue t-shirt that showed off his bronze, toned arms. His golden brown curls were windswept making my fingers ache to run my hands through them. I met his eyes once more and his perfect red lips lifted into a heartmeltingly beautiful smile. My heart raced in my chest had to grip the smooth table of the bar for support.
"Fancy joining me for a dance?" Lukas chuckled, suddenly appearing at my side. I looked to see his face covered in sweat, his breath coming out in quick pants.
"Not with you looking like that!" I teased; Lukas glared at me and took a step closer.
"Please?" Lukas begged putting his hands on my shoulders. I couldn't keep my eyes off Mystery Boy and Lukas followed my gaze.
"I hate you for doing this now." I groaned standing up from the stool. I handed my purse to a laughing Juliette and grabbed Lukas's sweaty hand. "Will you be alright?"
"I think I should be the one asking you that question!" Juliette snorted, I waved sadly at her before letting Lukas drag me into the endless crowd.
