The boy of Fire

(Opeagus p.o.v.)

"Hey opeagus what are  you doing" I heard a voice above me say. I pulled my face out of the book I was reading and looked up to be met with a boy with green eyes.

"I was reading " I said as I closed my book and placed it in my book bag next to my chair and stood up.

"Well while you was busy being a book worm I thought maybe we could go get something to eat " he said as he pulled out his car keys.

"Sorry Collin I'm broke" I said as I pulled my wallet out of my pocket and flipped it upside down as little bits of dust came out.

"That's okay dude it's on me" he said.

"And if I say no" I said to him. He looked around for a bit before I smirk grew on his face.

"You can't say no if I have your bag" he yelled as he grabbed my book bag off the floor and took of running out the class room.  I let out a sigh and chased after him out of the classroom.

I was running down the hallway trying to keep up with him passing people at there lockers before I accidentally knocked into someone. I rubbed my head from the impact.

"I'm so sorry" I heard a girl say. I looked across from me to see a girl trying to picking up her books and papers keeping her head down. Making the little bit of her blond hair that wasn't pulled into a ponytail cover her face.

"No no, it's my fault" I said as I started to help her pick up her stuff" "I was chasing my dumb friend" I finished picking up her books and helped her up.

"Here you go" I said handing her back her books and papers. She still kept her head low.

"Oh I'm Opeagus by the way" I said trying to break the silence. She didn't speak for a couple of seconds.

"I-I'm Sarah" she mumbled.

"Well I'm sorry for what happened, hope to see you around later" I said as I started to walk down the hallway. I looked back to see her standing there for a couple of seconds before she started to walk. I turned back around

"I'm going to kill Collin" I mumbled as I walked out the front of the school towards the parking lot. He was standing there leaning against his truck with his arms crossed and a stupid grin on his face.

"Took you long enough" he said as he started laughing.

"Well if you didn't make me chase you I wouldn't have knocked over that girl" I said adding a deep tone to my voice. His laughed vanished as a o look appeared on his face.

"Now where's my stuff" I asked him to which he pointed to the passenger seat. I pulled on the car door to open it but it was locked.

"Can you open the door please" I asked. He shook his head no.

"Since we have soccer practice later we're going to walk besides it only a couple blocks away. I let out a sigh

"Fine where are we going anyway" I asked. To which he put his arm on my shoulder.

"We my friend are going to the greatest place to eat...McDonald's" he said. I thought about it for a moment before I responded

"That's why you wanted to walk,you wanted to burn some calories before we eat such unholy food" he punched me in my arm softly and I chuckled.

"Let's get a move on" I said.

We started walking away from the school as we made are way into town.

"Look at this boring place" Collin said waving his hand around to the small  business and people walking some with their dogs.

"What do you expect nothing really happens in Nevada. I said. He nodded his head in agreement.

"Indeed but hey at least we have sports and school to keep us busy, without that I'd probably go crazy here" he said making his voice a bit high pitched.

"Knowing you, you probably would" I said. He punched me on the shoulder again

"Hey I'm not that crazy" he said.

"Collin you do relies you locked my stuff in your car so I'd go get something to eat with you right?" I said being a bit smart.

"Well maybe I am crazy let's just leave that up to the scientist" he said.

"Besides we can work that all out while we eat because we're here" he said pointing at the McDonald's in-front of us. We walked up to the door and Collin opened it preforming a fake bow as he held the door for me to go in.

"For you my lady" he said laughing. I karate chopped him in the back of the neck and walked in to bet met by a person way to soon to deal with this early.

"Hey Opeagus " a black haired grey eyed boy said.

"Hey David" I said letting out a sigh.
