{Third Person}

The Paladins had just finished a mission. They had freed yet another planet from the grasp of the Galra Empire. The planet they had saved was mainly like a desert, but it had water and some trees luckily. Keith groaned as he set his helmet on the floor and sat down on the couch. "Good job Paladins. That's another planet out of Zarkon's grasp. If you keep fighting like this, we are destined to win." Allura said as she smiled.
"Well of course we did a great job. We make a pretty good team." Shiro said, standing next to Allura. "That planet has quite the animal life for looking like a desert." Keith muttered and rubbed the back of his neck, letting out a soft sigh. "Yah, Keith is right. I swear there were so many types of bugs." Lance said and sat by Keith.

"Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm heading to the kitchen for a quick snack before we go to bed." Hunk chuckled before walking out of the room. "I'll probably go with him. Just to make sure he doesn't make a mess." Pidge rolled her eyes and walked out after Hunk. "I think Coran and I will head off to bed. I will talk to you guys tomorrow." Allura walked out of the room, Coran following behind her.

Keith winced lightly and took his hand away from his neck. Shiro and Lance immediately looked at Keith. "Something bothering you? Or are you upset I totally kicked the quiznak out of that alien Galra thing today?" Lance laughed. "Lance. Now's not the time. What's wrong Keith?" Shiro walked over to the two and watched Keith in concern.

"It's nothing. Probably just got bit by one of those stupid bugs on the planet. It hurts, but bug bites usually do. So I think I'll be fine." Keith sighed and slowly got up. "You sure, Keith? Yes, bugs are like that on earth; but this is an alien planet. You have no idea what those bugs are and what the effects of their bites are. You could die for all we know." Lance said and bit his lip.
"Guys. I'm fine, really. Just let me go to sleep. I'm sure it'll be fine by tomorrow. I just need rest." Keith picked up his helmet and walked out of the room. "You really think he'll be okay Shiro?" Lance looked at Shiro with worry filled eyes. "Keith is strong. If it really was a problem, he'd have us help him. I'll say to just leave him be for now. We can see how he is tomorrow. Until then, let's just go back to our own rooms and get some rest. I'll talk to you tomorrow Lance." Shiro patted Lance's back and walked out of the room. Lance sighed and shook his head, walking to his own room to get some sleep.

~Time Skip~

Keith yawned lightly, letting out a soft groan. He rubbed the back of his neck, sighing in relief that it didn't hurt anymore. See? He was right. All he needed was some rest. Keith got up and stretched before getting up. He looked down at himself and noticed his clothes were a little looser than usual. He just shrugged it off and put his jacket on, soon walking out of the room.

Lance was currently in the kitchen with Hunk, getting something to eat since no one else was up as they thought. "So you really think that bug bit on Keith's neck is a big deal? I think he'll be fine, Lance. You shouldn't worry about him. Besides, I thought you two are enemies? You try and beat him at everything you guys do." Hunk said with a mouthful of food.

Lance shrugged and sighed. "Hunk I'm just a little worried. Yah, I know it's Keith; but I'm just worried the bug bite could be dangerous or something. Us humans have never been bitten by this type of bug before. What if it kills him, or does something bad? We have no idea what it will do." Lance poked his food with his fork. He looked up when he heard the door open. It was Keith. Did he look a little smaller?
"Hey Keith. How are you feeling?" Lance asked. Keith looked over at Lance and Hunk before answering. "I'm feeling okay. My neck doesn't hurt anymore, so I feel as though I'm fine." Keith walked over to them and grabbed a plate. "Besides, why do you care?" Keith huffed.

Lance groaned. "Because I'm worried something will happen, okay? Something bad; but you look fine I guess. So I guess I won't worry as much." Lance took a bite of his food. "Alright, well you guys can go back to doing whatever, I'm going to go eat in my room; then go train a bit." Keith ran a hand through his hair and walked out of the room.
