Nina don't know what particular color of lipstick she'll going to wear that night. It's their batch reunion in College. She took a tissue and patted on her thin lips, she looked herself in the mirror for the last time, staring herself and some memories reflects from the mirror...

Lantern Parade

Railey's head was on Nina's lap. She stares silently on him sleeping. it was a starry cold night, though there's alot of student in the grassy field and watching the live band singing mellow music, finally. Maybe because its already nearly dawn and the band will not be appreciated if they still sang metal rocks as what the earlier bands did. The scene is so perfect, She and Railey always mistook as a couple but that's a dream for her. Nina had loved secretly Railey since freshmen, that's already 2 years ago, but instead became best of friends. She didn't really know how it was started, its just they found out that they were compatible in all aspect,in terms of foods, principles, hobbies, etc. They seems have a mental telepathy like they went to school always with the same color of clothes. They have the same taste of food, music and arts.

"you dont have an idea how much i love you, Railey" Nina whispered on Railey in his deep sleep. When tired staring at Railey She decided to lie down and have a nap also. They woke up at 7 in the morning in the middle of the field. they were a few students on their tent still. They smiled at each other and decided to have a breakfast in their school market nearby before decided to separate ways. Nina lives in a dorm while Railey at a boarding house outside their university.

Nina heard a knock on her door, it's her sister. "Hey, Mara's here" her sister shouted. Mara is her only girl friend who knows her feelings to Railey eversince. She first confested to her, but the rest of their girl friends doesn't even know a hint. "okay, okay i'm coming!" she replied quickly.

Nina run down the 3-steps stairs from her room and suddenly stops when she saw Mara in the sofa wearing a long black spaghetti dress, with dark blue sequence on the chest part and with a lacey strap. "Wow" she whispered amazingly. Her friend is a boyish type and seldom going out with make up. "Nah! i should be the one saying that to you... Wow!" Mara joked on her. Nina wore an above the knee royal blue pencil cut mini dress, which emphasizes her assets-the butt and the boobs, her permed hair just got perfect on her venus cut dress. "I'm feeling like a real tomboy, with that looks you have friend" Mara joke. "Just Kidding, duh!" she immediately said when she saw Nina rolled her big eyes. then they laughed. "Railey is a gay if he cant adore or appreciate your beauty tonight."Mara joked. She knows how Nina truly madly deeply inlove with Railey for a long time. It's 5 years ago. Even they were now in a corporate world, she never heard of Nina in a relationship ever. They still talked about Railey and their college days.

"you said so, my friend! but today i confess whatever happens!" Nina said with conviction on her voice. "Seriously?!" Mara shocked but she felt something different, yes she's excited like waiting for a love story to end but she's worried too for her friend like 'what if Railey doesn't really like her, she's afraid that may cause alot of pain for Nina. "are you sure?" Mara repeated. "Yes Mara, no matter his reaction, I will accept it!" "really huh? as in 100% you're sure?" she looked at worried Mara."Mara, i dont think i can hold on this feeling forever, what if i'll die or he dies i wasn't able to say the words i'd like to say to him, just i read in a romance book before, that if you love a person tell him so he would know, its not waiting for him to answer or say the same words but also a relief to that person who hides her feelings" she explained while holding Mara's both shoulder facing her. "well, goodluck to you my friend!" Mara replied with a relief. "May the odds be in your favor!" she added. And laughed on that quote for Mara got it from a movie 'Hunger Games'.

WELCOME BATCH REUNION 2004!!!

Nina and their college friends were in one table. Sofie with her hot pink baloon dress give her a debutant aura. Sofie put up a business after graduating in college. Lalaine had her masteral degree in Food Technology. Lalaine wearing golden beaded dress shows how filthy she is. She is the filthiest in the group. Her parents were all in London, she's the only child and everything she wants she gets. But unlike other rich kid, Lalaine stayed her feet on the ground, she just acted brat in front of her parents, otherwise she's like an ordinary girl. And the last girl in the group but not with them tonigh is Deborah, she have to work abroad to raise her child. Deborah have been a single parent after they graduated. His boyfriend got away and leave her beyond. Nina, Mara, Sofie, Lalaine and Deborah-they were the best buds plus Railey-the only guy in their group. He started to join their group after he became close with Nina.

The girls are chatting on the table when Lalaine received a phone call thru skype. "hey gals, It's Debbie!" Lalaine shouted excitedly when she found who's calling. "Debbie! "they almost shouted together. Everyone got excited to see Debbie. She's wearing a white winter clothes. "Hi Ma Ladies! you all look stunning! lucky you i wasn't there to flaunt my body, and steal all men's attention there, hahaha" Deborah's statement. they laughed at Debbies statement. They love her humour, and they really enjoy her company.

Nina's heart is pounding after she felt an arm on her shoulder, they we're busy talking to Debbie on Lalaine's Samsung Note 3 and didn't recognize Railey's coming on their spot. "Hi Debbie! We miss you here!" Railey said excitedly without looking to Nina and his arm stayed on her shoulder.

Mara winked on her then on Raileys arm on her shoulder. Nina is blushing and she softly push Railey's arm. Then when he looked at her with a little bit confused. Well he may think that something bothering Nina or he just assuming. They hanged up the phone when the program started so Debbie have to say goodbye for a while. They stayed on thier sits when some of their professors having some speech at the little stage. Then you hear the alumni's laugh and when a powerpoint presentation started playing the slides. Its a compilation of their college pics. Most of the slides is Railey and Nina together, eating icecream, in a swimming class, at the library, and at the lantern parade... and that is their silhoutte! She stood still staring at Railey's face on her lap. She hope that nobody recognize them. She feel her heartbeat and blood coming up on her head. "Excuse me, I'll just go to the washroom" she excuses from the others. Railey heard her but never turned his head to acknowledge her excuse, to think that he sits beside her. Nina felt a little dismay then walked away while Mara followed her.

"Are you ok?" Mara asked her with worries. Then she stops from the washroom door and faced her friend. "Where on earth they got those pics Mara?" Mara just shrugged her shoulders. "Social media, you know" Mara answered limitedly. "Nina, please dont be too affected. No one knows your true feelings, except I" Mara is right she told herself. And she inhale and exhale. "Ok girl, thats good...but one more time, i will ask you if you are really really ready to tell him? "Tell him what?!" The two girls got almkst jumped out at the corner when they heard Raileys voice. Mara just murmured "Oh-uh" and tap Nina's shoulder saying "goodluck girl" and pointed fingers to Railey "you, listen" and went away. Nina holding her breath and saw Raileys eyes full of questions, this time he is really skeptical. "Say what?!, hey Mara where you going?" He shouted. She saw Mara waive her hands nit even looked back from there. And when Railey cornered her, her heart almost stops. She feel his fresh breath, hiw she loved to kiss those lips, and his smell, so mesmerizing. "What is really happening here Nina? Whats wrong?" He said while staring at her eyes. "Nothings wrong Railey" she almost got out of air in her lungs. Now she have second thoughts , if she can tell her feelings to Railey, if its the right time, or does this time she will have courage to tell him.

"Hey bro!" Nina sighted, 'save by the bell'. Raileys attention now diverted to their batchmate Marco, Railey's basketball rivalry. "How are you bro?!" Then they shaked hands... Nina noticed that Railey didnt let Marco's palm go. It take a little bit more longer than the usual shakehands of a friend or acquaintance. But Nina thought it was just an imagination, she just jealous with Mark but she doesnt know why. Silly mind of her. What is she thinking? So, she took that chance to go back to their table.

"Hey, seems you have a love quarrel with Nina?" Marco asked and pulled his hand from Raileys.

"Nah, some girl thing, misunderstanding or maybe PMS" and they laughed.
