The pale faced figure glided through the forest, carrying with him a small box that looked like it had once been a children's toy. The colours decorating it were faded and the outside was stained with blood. The figure made his way towards a dark, dusty house that, from the outside, looked like it was falling apart. The door handle was rusty and the door itself was made from rotten wood and painted a dark shade of red, however most of the paint had come away in the many years it had stood in the forest. The weather had beaten the house down, and now the stone statues that had once proudly stood guarding the door had crumbled in the wind and rain. The figure opened the door slightly, and instantly heard the voices inside,
"I swear to god, Jeff, I will murder you if you fill my bed with spiders again!"
"Oh come on, it's just a joke! Also, you've been trying to murder me for ages now, when are you actually gonna succeed?"
"Guys, stop arguing, I think Slenderman's home, I heard the door." As Slenderman opened the door fully, he could see the 'family' he had brought together in the house. It was an odd group, but then again, they were all very similar. Jeff The Killer, he was a 13 year old boy who had been burnt with bleach in a fire, making his skin white, and his eyes were piercing, as he had burnt off his own eyelids, with the consequences being he could never blink. Jeff's smile was a sight to behold, with scars either side of his lips curved into a smile that reached his ears. He was excitable and mischievous, always playing weird pranks on the other members of the household, Jane mostly being the victim of his worst ones. Jane The Killer was the same age as Jeff, and wore a mask to hide her charred face. After his sanity snapped, Jeff tried to make Jane look like him, dousing her in alchohol, but forgetting the bleach before setting her alight. She awoke in hospital with her face burnt horribly, and a parcel next to her bed. The parcel contained a dress and a mask from Jeff. Jane left the hospital wearing the only things she had available, and swore her revenge on Jeff. Eyeless Jack was the more sensible out of the group, but not more sane. He had clawed his own eyes out after going insane from the hallucinations they gave him. He had a hunger for human kidneys after clawing the organ from his mother's stomach and eating it. The father-figure was Slenderman, a tall, slim, faceless man who wore a black suit and had several tendrils coming out of his lower back. Jeff was the first to notice the box in Slender's hands and tried to read the faded writing on the side,
"Laughing Jack in a box? Slendy, I thought you were bringing home another one of us, not a toy," Slender sighed and spoke out, using a method of telepathy he had learnt long ago,
"If you think he's just a toy, then you can have the honours of opening it, Jeff." He said, passing down the faded box to Jeff, who eagerly started to turn the handle on the side. Slowly, pop goes the weasel started playing, some of the notes out of tune. The group all found themselves singing along with the last verse. As the music stopped, they waited in anticipation, but the box didn't open. Jeff passed it back to Slender and turned away,
"Boring!" He said loudly over his shoulder. Just then, a clawed hand rested on Jeff's shoulder,
"Pop goes the weasel~" sang the owner of the hand. Jeff turned around and looked up to see a black, white and grey clown grinning at him with sharp teeth. His outfit was extravagant, with feathers pointing out of the shoulders and striped sleeves. His arms were long and hung down as though they had no bones in them.
"You opened my box, did you?" He asked. His voice sounded deep and rough, and his eyes looked mad as he spoke. Jeff wasn't impressed by the creepy display of the other,
"Well, yeah, and?" He said, smirking. The clown sighed and rolled his eyes, giving up on trying to scare Jeff, as it obviously wasn't working,
"I'm Laughing Jack-"
"I know. It says on the box," Jeff interrupted, enjoying the annoyance of Jack, "It'll be kinda confusing to have two Jacks, but oh well,"
"You're an annoying one, aren't you?"
"That's what they say," Jeff looked at the others, who were now sat on the sofa, talking amongst themselves. "Hey, we could call the other Jack 'Eyeless', 'cause it'd be weird to call you 'Laughing' or whatever," Jeff chuckled to himself before looking back up at Jack, who was getting more annoyed by the mischievous display of the 13 year old.
"Do you want to know how I kill people?" He asked as a threat, but Jeff's eye's lit up as though it was Christmas,
"Oh now we're talking about interesting stuff! I personally like to use my trusty knife to stab them repeatedly, and occasionally I'll carve a beautiful smile like mine into their cheeks~" Jack looked at the smaller boy shocked. Slenderman had said they were an odd group, but if he was honest, Jack wasn't expecting a 13 year old boy to be a serial killer.
"Well, what I do is I torture them, make them scream." Jeff was listening intently, "Do you wanna hear about a boy called Isaac?" Jeff nodded enthusiastically, and Jack started his story.
