On this very day, October 30, at around 4 or 5 AM, my grandmother bursted into our room and shook us awake. She looked so panicked, her eyes were puffy from crying, and her body was shaking violently.

The only thing she told us besides to get dressed was; "We have to leave to see your mom."

My mom had been in the hospital for three weeks or so, so I wasn't that worried cause she was still strong.

I wasn't a morning person, so everything that happened was a blur.

Upon arriving at the hospital, and checking into the room where my mother lied unconscious, I immediately slumped down on the couch and slept.

It took me a while to notice the many people who surrounded the bed where my mother lied.

People I've seen only for a while, far away relatives, they were all there, staring mournfully down at my mother's peaceful face.

But once I had gotten up, the doctors had already placed the blanket over her.

I didn't wanna open it to see my mother, cause I knew I would've cried my eyes out, and I would've been scarred for life.

I just sat there, beside my two older siblings, and my little brother, Blue.

Blue then sat beside my dad, and asked; "Where's mom? Is she okay?" My dad looked down at him with a sad smile. "Yes. But she needs to rest now."

"Will we ever see her again?"

"I don't think so. . ."

That's when everything came crashing down on me.

I lost my mother.

I lost my best friend.

I lost the person I cherished the most.

I lost my will to live.

Now I'm fine. She is still in my head, but I keep moving.

I'm happy that she could finally rest.

I love ye, mum~!
