The 1st Hunger Games - Introduction

District 4

- - - Edward Hawks' P.O.V - - -

District 4; the fishing district, they supply me with the most amazing seafood. I don't really know if I like the people though, or the district in general. They are so uncivilised compared to the Capitol, but I guess they are better than most districts.

"Welcome to the reaping of the very first hunger games! My name is Edward Hawks and I am your escort for the tributes of this district if you do not already know." I announce when I walk up to the stage. "Now ladies first if you please", I dig my hand into the glass bowl and fish out the female tributes name.

"Brynn Waters"

A small 14 year old girl who was quite skinny, but also strong and had tanned skin walked to the stage looking rather relived which I thought rather strange. She wore her very light brown hair in two braids and had astonishingly blue eyes.

I fish out the male tribute from the next bowl and read out the tributes name...

"Dylan Waters"

Interesting I think, as Dylan walks up to the stage, the same last name and they even look quite similar; he has a medium sized build, is strong and has tanned skin. He has longish light brown hair and the same blue eyes. My interest takes over me and I ask...

"Are you two related?"

"Yes" Dylan reply's, "Brynn is my sister".

Well, I think as I walk them into the justice building, this should be interesting.
