"I Ashton James reject you has my mate" he said before walking away. I stood there froze in place. I can't believe this just happened. On my FUCKING birthday. Who in the hell rejects them on there birthday? Thats when my vision went blurry and I started crying ad ran down the hallway trying to get to my car.

As I was running to my car, I saw the WORST thing ever Ashton making out with my arch enemy Lucy Watson. I must have been standing there for awhile because he turned around looking at me shocked as hell. Thats when I started running again to my car and didn't take not one look back but I could feel is eyes burning a hole in the back of my head.

When I got in my car, I pull out of the school's parking lot and went home.

When I got home I went in the house and ran to my room and slammed the door. I cried for about an hour and that's when I heard a knock. I got up and opened it and there was my mom looking at me worried.

"sweetie, what's wrong?" my mom said looking concerned.

"nothing, I just want to be alone" I said raspy. Turning around and walking back to my bed.

"Annlynn Mary Samuels don't you dare lie to me. I know when your sad because im your mom" she said walking over to my bed and sat next to me and put me in her arms.

"my mate rejected me and then I saw him making out with that bitch lucy" I told her quietly but enough for her to here and when I told her. Her jaw clenched and she balled up her fists.

"oh sweetheart, im so sorry. Who was it?" she said sweetly/anger in her voice.

"Ashton James" I said slowly.

"you mean your dad's best friend's son and the upcoming alpha of the black moon pack" she said sounding a little surprised.

"yes" I said very quietly. At that moment my dad or alpha of the sliver moon pack walked In looking surprised to see me here instead of at school.

"Ann? what are you doing here? I thought you were at school" he said looking at me with a eyebrow arched. Using my nickname.

"hi honey, Annlynn got rejected by her mate today and guess who it is?" she said to him.

"who?" he said it in a anger voice. That made me wince but mom looked normal.

"Ashton James, daddy" I said

" Grayson's son?" he said with the same surprised face that my mom had.

"yes, can we stop talking about it please?" I said desperately to stop this conversation.

"no, we need to get to the bottom of this. I'm going to call Grayson right now" he said walking out of my room fast. That's when I looked at my mom as she got up and shrugged and followed my dad.

When I heard the door click I sent Lynn a text about what happened.
