24 reasons why my boss won't fire me (Oneshot)

A/N: Before summer vacation started, I promised one of my colleagues that I will definitely make a novel about the title specified above. I was overly geared up at first, however, just like what always happen when I plan something, the sparks eventually faded. Just awhile ago, I was scanning and deleting photos from my drive, I came upon the list of the things I will be doing for summer vacation and I suddenly saw this title beautifully encoded on one of the screen-captured pictures. An idea struck immediately into my mind. This might not be the novel I dreamt of writing, at least, I was able to come up with something for this beloved title. Apologies for the dramatic reasonings, feel free to open another window if this does not appeal to you.

P.S: I stumbled upon this way of writing when I was head over heels in love with Naruto Fanfictions. This might be unusual for others, but feel free to use your sexy imagination while reading this. Enjoy!

1.   Curriculum Vitae

Although it was still a mystery for him, without hesitation he still accepted her.

2.   Personality

He hated to admit it but her smile swoon his sister’s heart, and should we say captivated his heart? No way.

3.   Wit

He was a lawyer. He’s exemplary in debates. Of course he will not lose to her on that stupid Reproductive Health Bill argument!

4.   Attendance

If there’s one thing he hated the most about this clients, it’s on punctuality and presence. Well, maybe that’s the reason why he has been checking his phone for a message that would be saying that she’ll be skipping tutorials because of some emergencies.

5.   Bribery.

Two days of absence? Heck. She’s not forgiven. But, her homemade cookies taste...errr...Can he ask for more?

6.   Passionate

Why does he feel so tensed by just giving her that cup of coffee? Is it because the day after would be the final exam of his sister? Or. No, that’s all, he emphasized.

7.   Polite

What the?! He’s only twenty-five and she’s twenty-three if he’s not mistaken. Why such formalities?

8.   Appetite

Cooking was never his forte, but why does he have this strong urge to invade the kitchen? Probably because she said his soup tastes good.

9.   Music

Wait. Was it Bruno Mars? Shit. How come they share the same playlist?

10. Adventurous

How come somebody so skinny makes it seem so easy to climb the tree?

11. Pets

Why does his cute little Doberman spends so much time on her lap? Was it switching sides already?

12. Gorgeous

Of course not! She’s plain simple. Simple. There’s nothing extraordinary about that skinny tutor of his sister. Nothing. But why can’t he take of his eyes on her?

13. Responsible

He used to worry so much about his sister going out to parties at night. Used to. It’s past twelve but he knows she can perfectly bring his sister safe and sound.

14.  Creative

The exact replica of the Last Supper. How can she have such talent?

15. Techy

He admits that she’s intelligent, but a geek? Unbelievable.

16. Athletic

Why would he give up on that little swimming competition? He’s a top swimmer for goodness sake but...she’s sexy. No, he didn’t say that! He’ll not lose to her.

17. Conservative

Since when did long sleeves defeat a tank top? He probably needed his spectacles.

18. Sociable

And what’s with this stupid conversation she is having with his colleagues? And why does she have to keep flaunting that sweet smile? She should only share it with him!

19. Verbal

How can she calm him by just a mere mention of his name? And since when did he begin to like his old fashioned name?

20. Effective

His sister’s smile is priceless. Maybe they’ll have a mini celebration for that gradual increase of grades.

21. Affective

One of the many drawbacks of having a little sister is the fact that it’s awkward to discuss love issues with her. Can she be a love guru for the mean time? Can she also share some advice to him? What?!

22. Sincere

Who’s that guy over the phone? Why is she comforting and apologizing to him? And...did she just say ‘I love you’ in a very special manner?

23. Caring

Of course he knows the side effects of alcohol. She does need to elaborate on it. Can she just go home and leave him alone? Her presence only adds insult to injury.

24. Professional

It’s hard to remember what happened after the drinking session. Did he confess his affection to her? He didn’t know. But it’s good that she did not mention anything about it and that she’s perfectly acting like nothing happened. But...why is his heart heavy? Side effect of alcohol maybe.
