The word that Jian Hao was going out to train and increase his cultivation was not a secret and so was despised by all his brothers
"Hehe too bad that this kid wants to act all heroic for that stupid little turd. We all know that Chen is now a cripple incapable of even leading a life of a normal person and this idiot thinks he can save him from big brother Yuo's clutches. A child's dream I'd say."
Jian Cai sneered at Jian Hao's unrealistic thinking of protecting Jian Chen with his pitiful cultivation level. More than that he was delighted in Jian Chen's misery, after all when Jian Chen was still talented son of the family, all eyes were envious and jealous of him greatly.
"You are right young master Cai. In my opinion, young master Yuo is going to make Jian Hao's life miserable just like that useless Jian Chen."
Nobody knows about the devious actions of Jian Yuo other than elder Zu and Jian Cai. Jian Cai and Jian Yuo both felt threatened by Jian Chen's talent in cultivation so, they decided to get rid of him before anything unexpected happens with their laid out plan.
.........................
Meanwhile in Jian Chen's room...
"Hmm... I've cleansed all the poison out of this body and its soul is in trance now. Now I must integrate my remaining soul string to this fresh soul and thus begin healing my soul."
Jian Chen was very clear about the situation of his immortal soul and damage it had sustained, so in order to not let any accidents from happening he decided to cleanse the poison first and then by the help of Immortal Soul Consolidation Technique he was going to merge the two souls. Merging of two souls is not a child's play even to an expert of heavens but for Jian Chen who has the help of Immortal Soul Consolidation Technique, this is but a piece of cake now.
Jian Chen started revolving his Immortal Soul Consolidation Technique at full speed. This life's Jian Chen's soul which was earlier in a trance was agitated and started coming to life, but the moment it realized the condition it was frightened and started revolting to the technique. But what simple mortal's soul could ever defeat an immortal's soul? It was subdued in a matter of seconds by Jian Chen.
"Kid, i know you don't want to die but your destiny was sealed the moment I came and occupied your body. You will die for sure but I can assure you of one thing that it's an enormous reward die at my hands."
Experts such as Jian Chen are neutral to life and death. Killing this life's Jian Chen did made him a little guilty but considering the bigger picture, it wasn't unjustified. Even though Jian Chen would die but his body would enjoy the glory of an expert.
After about 3-4 minutes of revolving the Immortal Soul Consolidation Technique, Jian Chen was now truly connected to the body and can call his own.
"Now, I must get back to the optimum form as soon as possible and build my cultivation level from the scratch."
"What a mess! All of his dantian is collapsed and no Qi is flowing through them"
Sigh....
"First I need to repair my meridians and then only I'll be able to absorb the heaven and earth energy to build up my cultivation"
Opening up meridians from their collapsed state is considered a complex thing to do but can it really stop Jian Chen from traversing his path?
"Okay, so i need to get my hands on some stuffs from the medical chamber and start on making some potions to open up my meridians. But if I wake up now and head towards the medical chambers it won't do any good to me."
"Although my meridians are crippled, I can still do the secret ways of illusion. That will be my trump card in getting all the materials i need."
"Shadow Illusion!"
Jian Chen turned mixed in with the shadows and disappeared from the room.
Shadow illusion was an assassination class technique. More than calling it a technique it was more of a movement skill. This skill was a secret skill exclusive to high class immortal assassins. It used the essence of heaven and earth to let the user get mixed in his environment completely as if they have become one with the heaven and earth. Although this was just a movement skill but according to the scriptures, if completed to great accomplishment this skill could be used to even fool the whole world and no one could find them even if they searched for a millennia!
Jian Chen being an omnipotent being in this mundane mortal plane had a very supreme advantage. Through his shadow illusion he can go wherever he wants as long as a very strong expert is not doing the surveillance.
"With these crippled veins of mine, I can maintain Shadow Illusion for only 15 mins at max. That much time should be enough for me to sneak inside the medical chamber."
.................
At the same time, near the Desolate Mountains...
Three figures emerge into the light.
"Young Master Hao, we have reached the foot of the Desolate mountains."
"Good."
"Now I need you two to go back and tell my mother about my departure. No one in the clan knows that I came here before the promised time. I am sure you two know what needs to be hidden should remain hidden."
Jian Hao was a very smart man. Despite having an average talent, he had a very sharp mind and his ability to analyze a situation could be said was top notch in the clan.
"Yes young master Hao!"
After the two servants departed Jian Hao heaved a sigh of relief.
"Damn. Trying to be dominating in front of people is really not my thing it seems."
"Alright. Now that I'm here, I should start my training and level up to the best of my abilities"
"Even though my talent is not enough to contend against Yuo but as long as I break though Apprentice Fighter realm and become a Qi master then I can protect Little Chen."
Jian Hao's eyes flashed with a light of resolution. He believed as long as he was determined then he could achieve anything and could thread the highest mountains.
And with that he sprinted into the Desolate Mountains and disappeared.
Mortal plane had 9 realms in martial combat. Apprentice Fighter, Qi Master, Nascent Fighter, True Qi Master, Spirit Awakening, Spirit King, Spirit Lord, Spirit Sovereign, True Emperor. All these realms have been further divided into sub realms or tiers.
............................
In a spacious room...
"Brother Yuo, that Hao has departed earlier than we expected. Is he going to be a threat to our plans?"
"Heh. He is not worth my efforts to be concerned about being a threat to me yet. He is a smart man and a strong tactician but, in front of absolute strength everything turns into dust."
"I am going closed door to cultivate. Soon I'll breakthrough to 2-tier Qi Master. After that no one will be able to stand against me."
A sneer was apparent on Jian Yuo's face. He was the eldest and was currently the number one genius in the Jian clan. He was superior to his peers in two ways, one was his being the first born and the second was his mother's formidable background. His mother, Ling Yu was the only daughter of Ling clan's current patriarch. Ling clan and Jian clan were both huge mammoths in their states and were neighboring clans to each other. Because of their formidable alliance no one from the other clans were willing to provoke them even though all the clans in the province were almost on same level of influence.
Currently where Jian Chen was, this place was a part of the Southern Province. Jian clan was in control of one of the states in the province. Although Jian clan was powerful but compared to the bigger picture of the whole Southern Province, it was only a 2nd rate clan with a True Qi Master taking personal command over each states. Compared to the super mammoths in the Southern Province, Jian clan faded in comparison.
