Sam's POV
I couldn't help but feel that some thing wrong was going to happen "Sam....Sam.....SAM" my friend Hanna shouted snapping me out of my thoughts "Are you ok you have been staring in space ever since we started walking down the hallway. "Yeah" I said trying to reassure her with a smile "Ok" she said knowing something was wrong but didn't ask what. "I'm going to run to Mr. Pots class" she said as she bolted down the hallway, I lost her in the sea of people.
I continued walking and saw Braden and Taylor flirting they both liked each other and they knew that but they still aren't dating and Braden has pictures of her in is locker a bit creepy. "You better hurry or Mr. Pot goanna have a fit and you two are still flirting" I said "Shut up Sam" they both said in unison it was fun being annoying.
I arrived at Mr. Pots room but it was strange it was just my friends Allison, Bentli, Abby, Braden, Taylor, Hanna, Caroline, Christian, Kayla, Ian, Shelby, Becca, and a different Taylor. I sat next to Hanna "Why is it just us" I whispered to her "I have no idea, just roll with it" she whispered back.
"Can anyone tell me what we are learning today its just one thing" Mr. Pot said, Caroline raised her hand and he called on her "Symmetry" she replied "No, anyone else" he asked. But no one raised their hand because that was what we were supposed to learn.
"Well since no one will say anything I will tell you, we will learn to die he said, everyone sat their in shock thinking he was going to shoot us "Don't worry children you will die slowly" he said as his skin peeled showing a lions head with a mane cotted with blood. Then rest of his body fell to the ground showing a goat body and a tail of a snake.
I knew what it was because I was a Greek Mythology nerd, it was a Chimera "What is that thing" Becca screeched "It's a Chimera, it breaths fire and spits venom" I yelled. "Quite child of the creator your death will come first" It said in two voices as it attacked me.
I ran into to the work shop room as it ran after me out running me and I grabbed a knife close to me "I will kill you first and become a king of kings" it said as it slashed at me but I slashed back and the knife scratched its eye and I got slashed in the leg.
Me and the Chimera both howled in pain and my wound cleared in a matter of seconds "what the" I whispered to my self "You will pay with your life for that" it said as it attacked me again but I stabbed it in the heart but it bit me. I blacked out after that, only hearing my friends scream my name as I lay next to the lifeless monster that used to be my Tech Ed Teacher.
