That night, Daiki was awake in his hospital bed. He's alive, but his body is full of wires around his chest. The holes of his nose were plugged by a pair of nasal catheter. He could feel the medication coming in from two different IV bags running through his veins. The sound of the machines mimicking his heart beat tingles his ears.
At this rate, he knew that he's back to square one. He recognized the unwanted, familiar surroundings around him. Tears were falling down from his eyes. A nurse, however, enters the unwanted scenery. As the nurse checks his current status, Daiki started to lose his control, and let his frustrations go by throwing random stuff around him. He doesn't care if its a medical instrument or just an innocent vase that was stood there, waiting to fulfill his purpose. He was so close of having his second chance, his second life, yet fate keeps on playing him.
Several nurses had come to keep a hold of him, but the only time that he was calmed down and went back to his sleep is when the time Maya and Nakajima-sensei arrived to help the nurses and give him tranquilizers.

"Arioka-kun woke up last night, and he instantly rage inside his room." Maya-sensei reported to the married couple the next day that she called them, regarding that.
The couple were silent in their seats. Maya-sensei look at them in the eye, and she saw a piece of fear to her, that her patient cherish the most.
"I know that the situation gets tougher by the minute." She tries to speaks some words of encouragement to the relatives of her patient. "When Arioka-kun used to have two supporters. It was still difficult for him to find strength and hope to continue life. It may be much easier now that there are two more supporters to convince him to continue life."
With those words that the female doctor released, Cath had this realization. She stood up to her seat and excuse herself as she left the doctor's office without saying another word to her husband or even to the female doctor. She immediately enters Daiki's room, where she saw him sleeping, yet he looks tired. She holds her hand, and she grips it tightly as she watches him sleep.
"Let me take care of you." She enchants these words softly to this weak man in front of her. "Allow me to be with you this time, to make up the times that you needed me the most. Allow me to stay and endure the pain with you, so that you will be given more time to make up to me. Please stay strong and fight, not only for me, but also for yourself."
She kisses his hand and silently weep beside him. Behind the door, is a man that watched them silently, as always. Telling to himself that in the end, his brother will always be playing a big part of her life.

Later that night, Cath went out with Kei to eat, leaving the two brothers alone. As Nino-senpai sat beside his now awake brother, he strobe his hair delicately like it will be his last.
"I'm sorry if I took this moment away from you." Daiki apologizes to him out of the blue, with no reason at all.
"Don't worry." Nino-senpai replied to his brother. "I have all the moment that I need before we got married."
They both chuckled to the conversation only they could understand. As it died down, Daiki smiled at his brother and hold his hand.
"What is it?" He wondered worriedly.
