One by one, contestants were leaving the competition. There were only five contestants left and surprisingly I was one of those five.

In last week's results, two of the contestants left, Forever More and Second Chance. Although, Holden had to go against Forever More because they were the bottom two and had to fight for their spot by having a sing-off. Holden sang How to Save a Life by The Fray and won against Forever More who sang Fix You by Coldplay. They both did equally well, however, the judges believed that Forever More wasn't doing so good from their past performances so they sided with Holden. However, it could have also been that Holden had the crowd in tears including Julie, one of the judges. To be honest, his performance felt like he meant every word he sang. My heart hurt as I heard him sing such beautiful words. I don't know why it got to me but it did.

This week it was all about love and it couldn't have had better timing than for this week, note my sarcasm.

Cal and Ty still won't talk to me and I still don't know why, but after what I saw Calibur do, I was over it. They once were called my friends. If they want to leave me for some unknown reason, so be it. I can't force them to be friends with me.

I tried to get them to tell me what I did that made them so angry with me that they won't even talk to me, but they would just walk away without a word said to me or act like they didn't hear a single word I said. So I gave up on them after several tried attempts just to be ignored in the end.

Cal didn't turn up for our usual meet up time like every other week in the music room to figure out what song I should sing this upcoming week, along with my back up song just in case I was at the bottom and had to go into a sing-off just like what happened to Holden.

Without the help of Cal, I chose three songs for this week, since the show was an hour long and there were only five contestants left. We had to fill up the show's time so they required us to sing two songs. Then for the results show, Jordan Zelda, Holden's coach, was going to perform along with my coach, Calibur Pierce and Ziga, a famous singer-songwriter that's close friends with Jordan.

For the rest of the week, I hid out in my room. Darcy, Holden, and Cyan were busy going out and about with their coaches. Their coaches were preparing them to do their best for the upcoming show and getting them gigs so they could get more people to vote in for them. I held no contact with Cal the whole week so I had nothing else to do but memorize my songs.

For the most part, I daydreamed. I thought about Cal and Ty, also about my three other friends I made during the last couple months on the show. I thought about my time on the show and how I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

A tear slipped out and cascaded down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away. I missed Eco and Christy, but I would also miss everyone here. I will be leaving soon since the show is about to be over and the winner of Discovered Rumors was about to be announced in a few weeks from now.

After the show, I was going to go back to my everyday life. I was going back to my other coach in the gym. I had December and January before I went to school and enter Spring semester since my gap year was about to be over. Eco and I will be going to the community college in our town. I didn't want to go far without my aunt since there wouldn't be anyone there to look after her unless she got herself a boyfriend who is a chef over the time I hadn't been home.

A knock on my door got me out of my thoughts.

"Come in," I told the knocker. Darcy pushed the door open. "How was it?"

"Exciting, fun, exhilarating," she grinned from ear to ear, but it slowly faded and turned into a sad, sympathetic smile. "Cal is still not talking to you?"
