A large but slim cat-like beast trudged its way up a tall mountain, the cold wind blowing through its dark-gray fur. Looking straight ahead with its four bright eyes, the cat recognized its destination and quickly leapt towards it. It landed on its four paws gently, and looked around, surprised at how the place never changed. It walked to the tree in the middle of the area and came up close to two large stones, each with a carved marking in it. Just as it was about to lay amongst the rocks, the creature sensed an unknown presence in the area and quickly turned its head, all four of its eyes locking onto a beast that looked similar to her but was much larger and had more muscle to it, having dark-brown shaggy fur amongst its body. The other feline glared and it tore open its flesh, sharp and vicious fangs emerging, saliva dripping down from it as it growled. Soon, both figures grew shorter and one emerged as a tall, tan-skinned young man with short, curly black hair with amber eyes and the other was a young girl with her blonde hair styled into a bob-cut and had two bright and pretty lavender eyes and her skin was a light brown.

"Well, Kamari was it? It's been awhile since I've seen you or your so called 'family'" The male said, a wicked look smeared over his face. Kamari glared at him, unsheathing her long, dark claws, scoffing at him. "We stayed far away from you and the others for a very long time and for a very good reason too.." The male unsheathed his own claws and raised them up slowly, soon aiming a finger straight at her neck. "Hmph, fine then, I'll make you regret that choice and slit open your neck and let you rest with your pathetic mother and sister!" He swiftly lunged at her and Kamari pushed off of her foot, dodging him easily. She landed and ran up to him, quickly positioning herself behind him and kicked the back of his legs, causing him to fall. He instantly got up and launched a fist at her, hitting her dead on her chest. She wheezed and looked up at him before he raised his foot and kicked her in the head, causing her to fly to the side and land on her face. Kamari staggered to her feet, before the male suddenly appeared beside her and latched both of his hands on her neck, penetrating his claws into the flesh of her neck as he choked her. She gagged and kicked her feet as she tried to get out of his grasp, tears quickly forming in her eyes. "Hmph, I feel like I wasted my time on the likes of you. Look at you, you're crying like some little bitch who lost her family and friends....Oh wait...you did!" He laughed hysterically as he threw her down, watching her fall limply on the ground. Kamari glanced at him one more time, her vision blurred from tears and blood loss, watching him changed into the beast form he originally was. She watched in horror as he tore apart the two large stones and knocked down the tree. He hissed and dashed off, leaving her there. Kamari suddenly felt her eyelids grow heavy and her breathing coming out in short breaths. Soon, everything went dark and she blacked out.

                                                           -------------------------------------------------------

The wind blew in the male's long, messy hair as he slowly trudged up the mountain, suddenly getting tired and stopping to rest against a rock, his large but thin white ears flicking. He lifted his head and squinted his forest green eyes towards the top of the mountain, realizing how far it was. Releasing a loud groan, he decided to continue hiking up the trail. After what seemed to be a hour, he finally made it up to the summit of the mountain. The white wolf gratefully took in the scenery and sighed in relief, tilting back his head to smell the crisp, mountain air. However, the corner of his lip curled up in worry as he smelt something like blood. He looked around, his eyes locking onto what seemed to be the limp body of a young girl who was completely covered in blood. He quickly jogged towards her, and placed a hand on her side, feeling a slight hint of her body moving, signifying that she was breathing. Slowly lifting her up and taking a quick look around, he suddenly switched into a large white wolf with the girl on his back and quickly ran off, heading towards the deep parts of the nearby forest.
