Perspective is everything

What we see depends mainly on what we look for because in this life, everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. And everything we see is perspective, not the truth.

I spent a few years (2 to 3) constantly worrying about how others saw me. I won't lie; it was a pain. But those years weren't wasted. I learned a lesson. People see whatever they want to see. No more. No less. It doesn't matter if you change. There are blind to reality.
They don't care. So I let them. But I'm more observant than what people give me credit for.

I see my image in other people's eyes.
Some see me as a strong, a fighter, a leader. Others see me as helpless, weak. Some people see me as nice, some as a bitch but that's too bad because I have grown past the point to care.

But that's just people. What about my friends? What about your friends? Think about it, who do your friends see you as? I know, and deep down you probably do too.

So I let them. I let every friend see the parts of me they want to see. So every person sees aspects of myself. I don't hide the other parts from them but they don't see it so I don't ask them to. I usually find I'm happier the more they see of me. VERY few people see the whole me. And that's ok. The few people that do, well they do for a reason. It's because I trust them and they won that trust. You might think that everything I'm saying is sad; you might it's bull; you might think it's true.

It's all just a matter of Perspective

Now think about this and let it sink in...
I gave you $10
He gave you $20
You felt that he was better because he gave you more...

But... he had $200, and all I had was $10...
