Jung Eun Hae
i hate the first day of school especially if you're new. i'm used to being home schooled so meeting people and having their attention isn't really helping but then i have no choice.
walking down the stairs i immediately see my brother making breakfast ever since i've moved to seoul he took care of me even if we aren't that close yet.
we were still kids when we parted ways due to our parents job, she didn't want to miss how we grew up so they agreed to bring me with mom. there wasn't any miss understanding nor any unfaithfulness happening between mom and dad it's just because of their job is in the way.
"good morning" my brother smiled as he sat down
"morning" i murmured
"how was your sleep?"
"it was okay.."
"i know it might be awkward for us but let's just enjoy, it's been a while. like what father said you'll be going to the same school as me" he lookes excited my brother is only a year older than me.
i didn't know what to say so i only replied with a small smile, with the awkward atmosphere i finished eating. i tell you even if it was just eggs and bacon it was delicious.
"let's go"
i'm nervous, yes it may sound like i'm overreacting but in osaka mom wouldn't let me out and all i did was stay inside but now that i'm here, i really don't know what to do.
"eun hae are you okay? you're sweating" he asked as we walk towards his car.
"i'm okay" i said sitting down on the passengers seat.
"have you drank your medicine?"
"yes" i replied short and quick.
there was nothing much to talk about he asked things like what i like and dislike, i feel a tad bit of regret he's trying hard to know me and all i replied was short as if i didn't really care.
again the awkward atmosphere was lingering, i tried to avoid it by listening to the radio and looking out the window. the view is amazing for someone who is basically locked away from the outside world seeing people doing simple things never fail to amaze me.
"eun hae this is our school" he pointed once again i was nervous there are many students, even if we were inside the car i can already hear their voices. my brother drove to the parking lot. he got out first and helped me.
"hyung! what took you so long?" a guy complained.
"guys this is my sister eun hae, eun hae they are my friends" my brother proudly introduced me
"it's minhyuk but you can call me 'oppa'"
"hey the name's saeguk"
the bell rang.
"guys let's hang out later i'll just accompany my sister" waving at his friendslooking at their faces they weren't really okay.
they were disappointed but once we made eye contact all of them showed their smile, like i said earlier i wasn't really a fan of people having their attention on me so i averted my eye looking outside.the scenery never fails to impress me, i've never been out for so long.
"so i can't really show you around but i'll bring you to the office. i don't want ms. nam to scold me" he winked teasingly, the trip to the office was calm and quiet.
a lady gave me a map and a key for my locker.i was too focused on the map which caused me to bump unto someone.
"hey, look where you're going kitten" the guy smirked.
he was tall and i haven't gotten a chance to even see his face clearly, well whatever.
'where the hell am i? the map clearly shows to go here'
once i saw a room at the end of the hallway i didn't even think twice whether the room is the room i've been looking for. i just don't want to be late.
which i regretted the most.
