Sydney's P.O.V.
(two weeks later)
"WAKE UP! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!!" I feel someone violently shaking me. I roll over and see Bri standing there with her arms crossed and an annoyed look on her face.
" What are you doing here?" I whine, pulling the covers over my face.
" I'm here to pick you up so we can go to school, that's kinda what we do in the mornings!" she says with attitude
I look over at my alarm clock, which says 7:15 and school starts at 7:40 " What the heck my alarm didn't even go off!"
" Suuuurrreeee, I bet you a million bucks that you shut it off and went back to bed!" she says while throwing a pair of jeans at me.
Now that I think about it............I did get up and shut my alarm off. Oh well!
"Hurry up and get dressed! I can't be tardy today or else I'll get lunch detention!" she says while throwing more clothes at me.
I finally get up and put on jeans and a t-shirt. I walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth. After I quickly put on mascara, I brush my hair and go downstairs. I grab my phone, bag, shoes, and walk out to the car.
"Jeez took you long enough!" she says with a smirk and starts driving to school.
"So I told Matt that him and the guys could stay at my house when they come and visit cuz my parents are on a business trip right now. You and Taylor can stay at my house too if you want? it's just gonna be me and the guys."
" Okay! I'll probably end up staying at your house. Where are your parents at?"
" There in Japan for some baseball conference......or something like that?" My dad is the manager of the A's baseball team and my mom is like my dad's assistance.
"Well we don't have to worry about them while the boys are here!" she laughs
" I know, perfect timing for them to leave!" As we pull into the school parking lot, the warning bell rings and Bri and I hurry to our first period that we have together. We make it in the classroom right as the final bell rings!
"You ladies are cutting it pretty close this morning. Maybe you should start getting up earlier!" our teacher says as she takes roll.
" Maybe you should teach the class!" I say under my breath but unfortunately she heard me and gave me an evil look. She's so irritating! I can't wait until this day is over!
First threw fourth period went by really slow!! Thank God it's lunch! As Bri and I are walking to my friend Haley's locker to meet everyone for lunch, my phone starts to vibrate. I look at the screen and Matt's name pops up. Don't think I don't freak out about him having my number cuz trust me...........that's probably something I will NEVER get used to!!
"Hey Matt!" I say excitedly into the phone. I haven't really told anybody about what happened at Magcon besides my close friends because I don't want anybody to treat me differently.
"Hey beautiful! I have a surprise for you!" he says and I can tell he's smiling.
"Really? What is it?" I'm really confused??
" Your gonna have to wait and see!!" and with that he hangs up!?
"What did Matt want!!!??" Bri says while wiggling her eyebrows.
" He told me that he had a surprise for me!? I asked him what it was and he said I would have to wait and see?" I told her trying to figure out what in the world he could possibly be talking about!!??
" Huuuh, that's weird!" she says, and I can tell she's trying to figure it out also.
As we wait for the rest of our group to come meet us for lunch, it ends up just being me, Bri, Taylor, and Cassie. Haley was going to eat with her boyfriend and my friend Regan had a meeting to go too. We don't eat lunch where all the rest of the kids eat lunch at. We found this patch of grass down at the very end of our school where nobody is around. I know it sounds creepy but it's actually really nice being able to eat lunch with only your friends and you don't have to worry about any other annoying person bothering you!
As we sit down and start eating, I look over at Bri to see that she is texting Nash! I really hope they get together, their personalities just go perfectly together! I'm pulled out of my thoughts as I hear a car honk, making all of us jump. As we turn around to see who it is, a black range rover pulls up to the sidewalk where we are sitting. Bri and I shoot a glance to each other, we both know exactly who's car that is! As we stand up Matt, Cameron, Nash, and Taylor all step out of the car!
As I'm still trying to process the fact that they are actually here, Matt runs up to me and picks me up in a hug! I laugh, taking in his scent. God I've missed him so much!
"I told you I had a surprise for you!!" he says while putting me down
" I was not expecting this! Your so sweet!" I say as I walk up to the other guys and give them hugs. Taylor and Bri do the same. We introduce Cassie to the boys and she talks a little bit with them as I answer Matt's questions about our school.
"We need to get this girl and Shawn together! I swear there like the same person!" Cameron says excitedly!which is super funny because Cassie is a Shawn girl!
" So do you guys like have to stay at school or can you leave with us?" Taylor asks us
" We're leaving with you!!!" Bri and I say at the same time, causing everyone to laugh.
As well all pile in Taylor's car, we decide that we want to go to the mall! To be honest........we drove their illegally cuz there weren't enough seats in his car so some people were sitting on other people's laps, I'm not gonna name names.........but it was totally illegal!
When we arrive at the mall we spend about 30 min there and then we left cuz it was really hot out and we wanted to go swimming! As I gave Taylor the directions to my house, Matt grabbed my hand and started playing with my fingers. My heart started beating super fast and I was trying my best not to fangirl right now!!! I just sat there as calmly as possible, trying to act like it's no big deal.
We pulled in to my driveway and everyone climbed out. I showed everyone their rooms once we were inside. About five mins later, everyone had their swimsuits on and jumped in the pool!
