Chapter 5

ONE ADVICE THOUGH...IGNORE THEM.
I WILL TRY MY BEST NOT TO MAKE ANYMORE MISTAKES. AFTERALL, WE ARE NOTHING BUT HUMANS AND HUMAN IS TO ERROR.

Lucius's pov
    It has been a week, a life changing week that I have been staying at Maria's. I was slowly becoming open with everyone,it was like I have finally gained my happiness after so long. I would even help Maria cook or cook myself and play with the three kids and life in school was getting better day by day with new friends even though they did the talking most of the time. My health was upgrading and everyone at home always tried to lighten up my mood but, I never shared my horrible past with them and I was glad no one brought it up.

   Alonso was leaving tonight and the kids were sad that they would miss their uncle.
  "Ok, guys I want you all to take care of yourselves and your mom,"he told the trio and all they did was nod their heads as tears cascaded down their cheeks.

     "Why do you have to leave?you just got back,"asked Maria looking sad.

    "Something came up at work, I need to go don't want to be late," he quickly answered as he hugged Maria and the kids and he patted my back before striding off to his car ,he got in and drove off.

   "Kids, it's bed time, up you go,"Maria chirped. The trio groaned before climbing the stairs and into their respective room as I followed suite.

   I locked the door behind me as I walked inside my room. I changed into my pajamas,brushed my teeth and climbed in the bed. I pulled the covers over me and drifted off to slumber land.

Unknown pov
    "I don't want to know what you will do,but I want him here right now!"boomed a hoarse voice as he shot deadly glares at the two men who knelt down in front of him. He was trying to calm his nerves afraid that he would fire them without thinking twice,but he knew that they were the best among his men and that was what refrained him from taking another decision.

    "But boss, what can we do?we don't know of his whereabouts we are doing all we can so, why don't you sit back and  relax , let us do our jobs without any interference ,"shot back one of the man clearly annoyed as the guy beside him nudged him to keep it cool.

    "Oh really now Damian, you want me to sit back?am I right?and who in the universe told you that I will follow your order?oops my bad, or was it an advice?"he spat back sarcastically.

    "No, I am truly sorry boss, we will do what we can to bring him here,"Dave muttered as he shivered under the gaze of his boss scolding himself for his foolishness.

     "Well what are you waiting for, you sluggards!go and do your job in the soonest way possible"he boomed. The two men got back to their feet and scurried away but cameto a halt suddenly. "I am giving you twenty four hours to complete this task and dont you dare test my patience! Just don't show your face if you clearly have nothing!"he roared.

    The two men quickly saluted him and went to get their mission done. They sent a search patrol two hours ago but there was still nothing. Suddenly, they got a call and it was Damian who answered,"hello?..........

Lucius's pov
     I heard the shuffling of the feet around the room,woh!my nightmares are coming back. The shuffling increased and I could hear footsteps, the wind blew as the trees rustled nearby but as far as I remember I never and I say,never leave my windows open. This was unusually strange and I quickly opened my eyes and sprinted out of  bed.

   I looked around like a prey watching out for a predator,I could see no one,the windows were shut as they were before I had gone to sleep. I smacked my head lightly reminding myself to stop hallucinating.
