TWENTY-THREE

Once I get back into Beacon Hills I go to the hospital and check on Mama McCall. "Hey Mama," I say. She's sleeping. "I know you probably won't hear this but I'm going to do what I can to protect Scott. I promise no matter what it takes."

I kiss her hand and I go outside. My dad is outside in the hallway waiting for me. We start walking. "So you're meeting Scott?" I ask.

"Yes. I'll need you by 7:30," he says. I look at my watch it's 6:30. An hour.

"Gives me time to get fries," I reply. When we walk out of the hospital. I go into my car. I hurry and drive to the diner I love.

So I sit at the counter. "Some fries to go please," I tell the waiter. He walks off. 6:50.

I look at my phone and text Derek the place we'll be at. Then I text Isaac back. Wish he could've made it. I've got to find Ethan and Jackson here.

The man scares me with the fries. I leave a 20. When I get up the door opens. I see Theo. Relief floods me. I hurry and walk past him. No I can't do that to myself.

I'm guessing he's the one that grabs my arm. "Thank you for telling Liam that I could be saved," Theo says. He lets go of my arm. I see it in his eyes.

"You're in love with him," I reply.

"No I'm not," Theo says. I smile. I shake my head.

"Whatever you say. I'm happy that you're okay," I reply.

I get a call from Liam. Oh no. "Alex I need help with a decision," Liam says.

"Do I need to come back to Beacon Hills?" I ask.

"No it's about Theo. I want to know if I'm going to regret letting him free," Liam answers.

"Alex after tonight. We have to end it. I don't want to hurt you anymore," Theo says.

"I think that he can change. You're probably going to regret it once," I reply.

Present
"Theo I'm sorry but I have to go," I say. I hurry and drive to meet them. I get there. I go over to them.

"Sorry dad. Fries took forever," I say.

Lydia and Peter show up. "None of this are going to make it. "

I turn around and look at my dad. Gunshots go off. Then he has bullets going through him. I hurry and catch him. I put him behind something.

I try to take his pain. "Alex we both know that won't do anything," he says. I shake my head. 

I have a lump in my throat. "No you can't. Your suppose to grow old. Walk me down the aisle if someone wants to marry me," I say.

He hands me daggers. I stand up and throw one at their head. I throw another one into a man's chest. The last one at Monroe but she moved.

I kneel back at him. Start crying on his shoulder. I feel someones hand on me. I don't bother looking. The gunshots stop. They're gone. My dad talks to Scott and Derek.

I stop leaning on his shoulder. I kneel look at him. My puts his hand on my cheek. "I'll tell your mom you said hi. I love you," he says.

His hand falls. I start crying. I stand up and look at Scott. I look at them. Gerard. I go over to the bodies. I grab the daggers out of them. "Alex," Scott says.

I pull out their phones. I hack into them. Two people. I killed two people tonight. I look for the last dagger but it's not there. I go back to the scene. It's on one of those trucks.
