(Narration Intro) It was the beginning of Forever-

oh how cliché is That? Let's be more realistic here.

It was the beginning of something neither of us had experienced, I was a hopeless romantic, dreaming of a family and a home but never meeting the right person. Or a decent one at that. They were.. Well, Everything I had been searching for, And so much more.

   This, Is the story, Of two worlds colliding.

It was the first day of school, All of the freshman were surrounding the class placement board. The Sophomore's greeted each other with meaningful handshakes and smiles, While the Juniors and Seniors lounged about in the lobby area. Grae Ashborne made his way up the sidewalk to Lunar Isle boarding school, Refusing to turn and look back at his mother who called out to him with positive reassurance. With a heavy sigh, Grae pushed the front doors open and observed what his mother got him into. Needless to say, She owed him immensely.

The room fell silent as Grae entered.

{First Person P.O.V. Grae}

(What are they all staring at?) Making my way up to the sign-in desk I look around and see the male students in silver jacket uniform coats and black button ups with white buttons. The female students wore black polo shirts, a silver skirt, and knee high gray socks. Getting a glimpse of myself in the mirror I realize they're staring at Me. I Gently touched the deep scar that crossed over my left eye ending at the middle of my cheek, Worried that they had seen it. The secretary looked me over while raising an eyebrow, I was never given a uniform. Keeping my head down, My long messy shoulder length dark hair hid most of my face, I felt the students' stares and the anxiety made my heart pound in my ears, I barely heard the secretary's instructions as she handed me my uniform. She pointed to the locker rooms and told me I needed to change out of my clothes, It was mandatory for all members of Lunar Isle Boarding School to abide by dress code. I tugged nervously at the bottom of my shirt, ( I don't belong here.. but I don't have a choice) I heard whispers coming from the different groups, The whispers grew louder and louder in my ears. I felt dizzy as my heart raced making it harder to breathe.. "Hey, Everyone SHUT UP " a girl shouted, Making the room silent once again. She looked young, smaller than me. Yet, She had the fierce look that determined she wasn't as young as she seemed. The girl looked over at me, The fierce look shifted into an expression of worry and understanding. Looking back at the other students the fierceness returned "Don't any of you have anything better to do!?" she snapped. The students began to return to their boards and conversations.

  Walking up the hall to the locker room, I couldn't get the image of that girl out of my mind.

  It was the first time anyone had stood up for me, I was always invisible. Little did I know,

I would wish I was still just that.

Invisible.
