A few years ago, in 2015, I had an urge to write a story about something that interested me, that had me using my time right and enjoying it. I threw around ideas for a while with myself.
Like, making the sun and moon people living a life on earth, or stories of people escaping the walls of society. But, what finally sparked my idea for this book was a bit unique.
While doing nothing, a word came to my head, that I might've heard before. Embossment. Out of curiosity, I looked it up. This sparked an idea for a story, where a machine, known as the Embosser, is what causes an uptight, unnatural society for young teens.

The main characters in this book are around the ages 14-17, with some instances of flashbacks to before then, to give insight to you guys on some of their past. The most main character, Genevieve, is 16, going on 17, and is the narrator of the story. There might be some points in the book where you'll see other people's point of view and thoughts. Cal, another important character in the book, is 17. His brother, Renso, is 14. Genevieve's sister, Navaeh is also 14, and Adelia is 17. Other characters will be introduced and others might become more common as the story progresses.
The last thing I'd like to address is how I plan to layout chapters and the length I'm considering for the book. I'm hoping to accomplish moderately length chapters, with updates every other week. But, if I post shorter chapters updates will be every week. The plan for the layout is like a standard chapter book, where people talking is quoted and clarified who is talking.
