Hey guys the cake above is the one that I did for Halloween but also delayed this chapter because it took a while to decorate, I'm really happy it turned out so great. My apologises for a later chapter but like I say the cake make it really difficult to update last night but here it is, the chapter I was looking forward to and was really difficult to write, the drama is beginning so hopefully you should find this story better now. I really appreciate your reads, votes and counts and I love you all so much for giving me the time of day, so I hope you enjoy this chapter and I'm sorry if the updates come slower because I have exams soon and I dont want to fail them because if lack of time but I will try my best to update within a week . 10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. I slap my hand over my alarm clock to silence it whilst staring intensely at it while it lays deadly still in my hand. I've been watching it for an hour, unable to bring myself to go back to sleep when I know what the day ahead holds. I place my alarm clock down slowly on my bed side table, throwing back the duvet cover with a hiss as the cold morning air gushes under the sheets. I feel goose bumps rise on my arm as I step timidly on my carpeted floor, my toes quickly curling at the feeling of the sketchy cold material below.
I need something this morning. Something that will maybe send off a positive message to the world straight away rather than later on, that message is going to be that today is the start of many great days.
I bend over and turn on my bedside table lamp, flinching and closing my eyes with a wince at the brightness that descends into my eyes and the room. I make my way over to my set of shelves which are nearly as big as my chest of draws next to them, full to the brim with my extensive music collection. I rub my thumb over it fondly, feeling the smooth varnished finish caress my thumb soothingly.
My eyes flicker over the many cd cases, trying to set the right mood for the day as I gnaw on my lip in thought, Green Day: American Idiot? No, although it's a fantastic album I want to set the mood for my day as positive, rather than Boulevard of Broken dreams and I want fulfilled dreams. Fall In Boy? Yeah, but which album? Not the first album no maybe Save Rock and Roll? Yes! That's definitely the one.
I take out the cd case delicately, trying my hardest to keep it as perfect as possible, after all, all music in my house is sacred and should be looked after, including books, oh my god don't even talk to me about creases on book covers! I shudder at the thought as I put the plug in for my cd player, smiling when I hear it hum to life. I flick open the lid and carefully slide the cd in, pushing the lid down whilst excitedly walking back to my music case, placing the case back in whilst waiting for the first song to set into the atmosphere. I grin to myself as The Phoenix starts blasting though the speakers.
