LUMINESCENCE

Dedicated to the one who brought light into my darkest days.

Every night, when I gaze upon the dark sky, thousands of little twinkling lights brighten the dim expanse of space. They make me wonder and ask a lot of questions about why they exist and still bring light to this world that's inhabited by cruel creatures called humanity. My dad used to tell me about stars being protectors of the Earth from the darkness all around it. My dad called these humanlike protectors as LUMEN. He told me that they went down from the heavens to protect humankind from the darkness ruled by the STYGIANS. I used to believe all those astronomical myths, but I grew up. I Luna Sterling, grew up. Lumens and Stygians are all myths. They are right?
