Malia is a village girl who lives with her widow mother.

Thier poor but they don't complain.

Malia is a very smart girl with a bright future ahead of her.

But what happens when all of that is stripped away from her when she mysterious goes blind, and her mother can no longer walk.

They have been shunned by their whole community because they believe Malia and her mother are witchs, all because of a rumor.

What will become of her?
