Chapter 1 - the female fact files

'Morning, Holly!' Dr Bethany Gilford chirped as she strolled into her lab office, just a week before OCEAN HOUSE was scheduled to start filming. 'Good Morning, Miss Beth. I have prepared your cappuccino.' Holly's automated voice replied. To most, this scene would have looked odd, but to scientists, it would have been a wonder. This, of course, is because Holly is Dr Beth's computer bot, designed entirely by her. She consisted of a huge screen, taking up the entirety of the wall behind her desk, and was linked to every electrical appliance in the room; the coffee machine, the telephone, even Dr Beth's watch. She made the lab alive, giving Dr Beth company, as a computer is the only thing competent enough to entertain a genius. The office was spotless; all that was necessary was a chair in front of Holly. She did the rest.

Dr Beth sat down, sighing, as she listened to the coffee machine whir. The blue screen currently showed Holly's face; a blonde, smiley avatar designed to look extremely similar to Beth herself.
'Holly, launch of OH is close. Are all the participants well informed?'
'Of course, Miss Bethany. All that is left to do is to send them the email.'
'Brilliant. I knew I could count on you as usual.'
'I'm flattered, Miss.Are my sibling robots prepared?'
'Yes. they are safe inside OH, equipped and linked to you. That way, we can control it exactly how we control the lab. All rooms have one each, and the layout is the same as in here. Could you load up everyone's fact files please? Their bots will be downloaded on their files too, so you can send them a message as we go.'
'On it, Miss.'
Holly whirred into motion, filling the baby blue room with soft ticks and murmurs. Satisfied with her work, Dr Beth sipped her coffee, as the first face flashed up on the screen, and Holly began reading.

'This is Violet Hargreaves. She is the youngest going to the the house; 17 last month, however there is no doubt she won't be popular. She works at a small beauty boutique in Rosewood, and has over 3 million Instagram followers. She is a media star, and is newly single, after a tough break up with her boyfriend Drew. They had been dating for 2 years, until Violet caught him sleeping with another woman, still unknown to her. Her hobbies include tennis, swimming, and clothing design. Her friends describe her as confident, bubbly, and beautiful. The bot linked to her room is 'Mia'.'
Dr Beth chuckled. Her eyes gently scanned over Violet's blonde locks, and her piercingly stunning emerald irises.
'Do you have any more information on her relationships, other than with Drew?'
'Scanning Web... Only this article, Miss. Printing..'
The printer began to churn, and Dr Beth picked up the paper. Young girl, aged 16, rescued on the street after attacked by teens in a pub.
'Oh my...' Dr Beth chuckled more, smirking. 'This would certainly come in useful. Next factfile please Holly!'
