chapter three
caleb's first day

It was Monday morning and for the first time in her life Sadie was excited. She was looking forward to speaking to Caleb and getting to know him more. She through on a white blouse with black leggings. She was walking to school with Millie, who was supposed to be at her door any minute now. Sadie skipped breakfast, she wasn't very hungry anyways. She played on her cellphone until the doorbell sounded throughout her home.

"Bye Mom!" Sadie yells and she runs outside to Millie.

"Hey girl." Millie smiles

"Hey."

Once the girls arrived at the school Sadie went to her locker first. Millie's locker was further down the hall from her.

"Hey... Sadie right?" A deep voice says behind her.

Sadie turns to face the mystery voice and is greeted with a large smile and black curly hair. "Yep. Finn right?"

Finn nods. "Have you seen Millie? She said she wanted to talk to me before class."

"Yeah, she should be at her locker." Sadie replies

"Cool, thanks." Finn walks away in the direction of Millie's locker.

Sadie smiles to herself wishing her best friend luck when she sees Caleb strolling the halls. She slams her locker and runs up to him.

"Hey." She smiles

"Oh Hi." Caleb smiles staring at his schedule.

"Are you lost?" Sadie laughs

"Yeah kinda." Caleb smiles

"Here, let me see." Sadie takes his schedule and looks at his first class. "Oh, this is my first class too. I'll walk with you and show you where it is."

"Thanks." Caleb says and starts walking alongside Sadie.

"So, where'd you come from?" Sadie asks

"L.A. My parents divorced and I stayed with my mom and she made me move down here." Caleb says

"Thats so cool! Isn't that where all the celebrities live?" Sadie asks

"Yeah. I guess."

"Wait are you a celebrity?"

"No, but I've always been interested in acting though." Caleb says

"Seriously? Me too!" Sadie exclaims.

Caleb laughs. "People usually think its lame when I tell them."

"How is acting lame? Its so cool!" Sadie laughs "Here's our class, newby."
