The Proposal

I slowly sit up in the unfamiliar comfortable bed pushing my curly bang out of my face as I look around in confusion trying to figure out how I got from the couch to this king size bed. I slowly toss the covers off of me as I move towards one side of the bed before standing up and stretching.

"A great dumbass" I hear two deep voices say in union before they start laughing.

I slowly walk over to the mirror hanging on the door and look at myself. I forgot just how beautiful I truly was, the only thing I hated was how I looked so much like my mother, and nothing like my father the only real difference was she was taller and skinnier. I take the Scrunchie from around my wrist and quickly run my fingers through my hair before I tie it up

Without realizing it I opened the door. It seemed like all the noise disappeared as I stepped out of the room.

"Alonzo why the hell did you give baby girl that outfit?" Glenn ask as he scan over my body. I slowly fold my arms across my chest as I shake my head wishing I stayed in the room.

"Nigga I ain't think she had a body like that" Alonzo replies as he walks into the kitchen.

"Well damn this can't be the same girl from yesterday " Elias says as he walk up to me and touch my chin. I slap Elias finger away before walking towards the kitchen.

"You hungry?" Glenn ask as I walk pass him.

"Hell yeah I'm hungry! I thought you would never ask" Elias answers dramatically as he follows me to the kitchen.

"Nigga shut yo dumb ass up I was talking to babygirl " Glenn says as he sits on one of the stools.

"Aqua" I state matter of factly as I sit on the counter by the stove.

"Huh?" Glenn ask looking confused. I take a deep breath.

"My name is Aqua not babygirl " I correct as I look over at him.

"My bad Ms. Aqua are you hungry ?" Glenn inquires with a small smirk on his face.

"Just a little" I answer back lowly.

"So we was thinking since you homeless you could stay with me until-" Glenn starts as he looks away from me.

"Thanks but no" I interrupt as I shake my head at him.

"So you trust us enough to eat our food but you don't trust us enough to stay with us until you get on your feet?" Glenn questions as everyone looks at me strange. While Alonzo starts making a omelet.

"Why do y'all want to help me so bad? I was just fine before y'all came along" I say confidently as I throw my hands up.

"Babygirl I don't know if your trying to convince us or yourself " Alonzo states as he continues cooking.

"Her name is Aqua, Alonzo " Glenn reminds him with a small laugh.

"Look, we not gone beg you to let us help" Alonzo tells me as he shrug his shoulders.

"Well don't because I don't need it" I reply sharply as I cross my arms over my chest.

"Damn I know you slept good you got slob running from ya mouth to ya ear" Elias says laughing as he points at my mouth.

"Dang why y'all keep putting her on the spot?" Alonzo ask as he gets a plate and puts the omelet on it.

"Forget this..." Glenn reply flatly as he stands from the stool and walk over to me.

"I tried it y'all way and clearly it ain't working.." Glenn adds as he state me in the face.

"You coming with me whether you like it or not you can either go put that ass in the truck or I can your choice you have until you finish eating that damn baby ass omelet to decide " Glenn informs me as Alonzo hands me the plate.

"Damn Glenn I don't know if I should slap you or take notes" Elias voices as he watch from behind the counter.

To shocked to speak I just look at my omelet not having anything else to say

"Damn Glenn got yo ass on mute" Elias continues as he shake his head.

"Aqua wait here I need to talk to these fools on the front porch" Alonzo tells he as he grab Glenn by the shirt and lead him out of the kitchen.

"Aye I ain't no fool Alonzo you just hurt my feelings " Elias says sounding fake hurt as he follows behind them.

"Look it ain't nothing to talk about she coming with me man " I hear Glenn say as they make their way outside.

I hop off the counter and slowly trail behind them stopping when I get to the window.

"Does Sirius know?" I hear Alonzo ask quietly.

"Yeah I texted him saying it's a possibility " Glenn responds back equally quite.

"Speaking of the devil look..." Alonzo adds as they all look towards the driveway seeing Sirius car.

"What's up Siri ?" Elias says walking up to Sirius as he gets out his car. Sirius doesn't acknowledge Elias and heads straight for Glenn punching him square in the jaw.

I know this was a short chapter but I just wanted to give y'all something since I haven't been posting...
