So my mate is not really a lonewolf, she's basically a member of a pack.

But why she and her father is here?

Aren't they suppose to be on the same territory with their pack?

Are they on the run?

No.. Mr. Wexford seems to be an honorable and dignified wolf.

But why would these Moonstone pack kidnap their on member?

Who exactly are they?

Riley POV

It was a long night. I was really itching to bit off somebody's head to vent out my anger and frustration.

'Why on earth does it have to be Casey? My baby. My everything. Why!?'

I muttered under my breath and punched the wall.

And what ticks me the most is that the only thing we knew is her own pack kidnapped her. What the hell? Mr. Wexford doesn't even cared to explain why would these lowly coward kidnap her. And I can't do anything about it coz he's Casey's dad.

"Sh!t" I cursed as another punch went causing a big hole on my bedroom's wall.

"D@mn child what is wrong with you?"

my father asked after hurriedly hearing my angered noises.

"Casey. She was kidnapped."

"Yeah. I heard. Do you have any idea who did this?"

"Well, her dad think it's their own pack's doing. The moon.. Moonstone.. Yeah. That's what he said."

I immediately saw my father face whitened.

"Dad?"

"The moonstone? Here? Are you sure?"

He asked hurriedly.

"Yes. Do you know them?"

"I.. I.. I d-.. I don't! No! No idea at all!"

I stared at him for a few seconds. I don't know what's gotten into him but I don't have time for this.

"Okay." I replied after few seconds.

Then I stand up and head for the door.

"Where are you going?" my father asked after a minute of being stunned by I don't know what.

"I'll look for Casey. I can't sit here doing nothing."

"But you can't!"

"Why not? She's my mate dad!"

"No! You won't leave this house young man!"

"What the hell is wrong with you!? She's my mate and even the daughter of your friend!"

"But Riley already sent a search party. Besides, do you have any idea where to start?"

"I don't. But I'll figure out myself..." I said as I shut the door leaving my father horror stricken. Why is he being like this?

I pulled the car out the driveway and head to the outskirts of town to look for any sign of Casey.

I was rounding for a couple of hours and the birds are telling me it's nearly dawn.

"Hey." I heard a familiar call behind me.

"Hey bro." I greeted back as Royce gave me a brotherly hug.

"No sitting back uh?"

"No. Not if it's Casey."

"I'm really surprised on how much she changed you."

"Well, I am surprised, myself. She's really adorable and gorgeous and fantastic and... Dang! I know this sounds crazy.. and girly but.. I miss her. I do." I said as I buried my face in my palm trying to calm down. I didn't let her go just for her to .be in danger. I should've been more of a jerk and be selfish again. I never thought this will happen.

"Dude, we'll find her. She's a feisty little woman and I bet she's already kicking somebody's ass right now."

Royce assured me.

I sent a faint smile on him. No words can really make me feel better right now. Heaven forbids but I might kill every one of them who did this.. all of them until no one with the drop of their blood is living.

It was almost 10 in the morning and I decided to head back, eat and refresh myself before searching for Casey again.

I pulled my car on the driveway and was stopped when I saw the door of our house broken..

"Dad!" I called out.

The house was a mess. I went straight to his bedroom.

"Dad!" But still no one answered back.

I went down to search in the kitchen..

and there he was..

I was choked.

My father lying on the floor covered with blood. He's on his wolf form but I immediately recognized his black fur with streaks of grey.

"Dad! Dad!" I called out his name feeling his heartbeat. He's not dead but his heartbeat is faint.

He slowly open his eye and managed to transform back into his human form.

"What happened? Who did this?"

"Moon.. Moonst-t.." And he lay dead on my arms.

"No! Dad no! You can't!" I shouted as I shook him hard.

This can't be happening. This is a really horrible dream! A nightmare! A night terror!

I shook him for the last time.. And as I closed his eyes with my right hand..

I cursed under my breath.

"D@mn all of you.."

Poor Riley. Casey gone missing and his died in his arms.
