"Pick one, already!" Chanyeol huffed in exasperation, the indecisiveness of the brunette currently occupying the seat beside him clearly getting on his nerves. "None of these are any good. They're all over-played and worn out." Baekhyun whined in response, drawing his hand from the radio once reluctantly settling on Super Junior. Chanyeol simply smirked and gave a giant chortle, rebukingly shaking his head as his eyes focused on the road once more.
This was all apart of this routine of theirs. Baekhyun's unwillingness to happily choose a single song to listen to was nothing new to him at all. It happened almost everyday, after all.
It was a wet and rainy day, the thick clouds overhead casting a dull haze upon the busy streets below as people slowly inched through traffic or hurried down the sidewalks, tightly clutching their umbrellas in hopes to shield themselves from the treacherous downpour.
While most found the rain to be a pain, Baekhyun loved it. He found it incredibly soothing; the gentle tap of the droplets. It was lulling, and it showed as the thin male yawned and stretched his arms above himself, stretching and relaxing back into his seat a moment or two later. "I don't want to go to school.. I'm too sleepy.."
"It's your own fault, your the one who stayed up 'til four in the morning watching Naruto re-runs." Chanyeol pointed out matter-o-factually with a soft chuckle, giving Baek a small glance. Baekhyun merely scoffed, childishly mocking his friend before giving a heavy sigh.
"Did you ever finish your history homework?" The brunette then inquired.
"Yes, why?"
"'Cause I didn't. Let me copy yours."
By the time Chanyeol had even the time to offer his disapproval, Baekhyun had already snatched his backpack from the back seat and was currently going to work scribbling down all his unfilled answers. Finding it quite pointless to argue at this point, the younger male just shook his head and let the other be.
It was several minutes before they'd finally arrived at their high school, Chanyeol pulling into the parking lot and parking close to the doors. That's where they met up with Kyungsoo.
"Hello." The doe-eyed male greeted in his usual mumble, adjusting the strap of his bag upon approaching the others. "Hey, Kyungie, " Baekhyun replied happily before holding his hand out, "Let me see your history homework." He then requested, his fingers doing a little dance of impatience.
"No, you shouldn't cheat." The black-haired retorted, judgefully eying the other.
"I'm not cheating, just.. checking, per-se." Baekhyun replied with a faint laugh. "Now hand it over, the bell's about to ring."
Kyungsoo rolled his eyes, but eventually complied, opening the flap of his backpack before digging a few papers out and handing them over. It'd stopped raining, so Baekhyun simply shrugged off the jacket he'd been wearing and used it to dry the rain from hood of the car in which Chanyeol was currently sitting.
