*My Journal*

Aimmie is just experiencing the "craze" of Sophomore year in High school. She... well let me cut to the chase. I'm struggling with home and school issues. I am an average kid, I have no reason to be popular. I have red hair and green eyes. But I don't flaunt my self out. I always tie my hair in a ponytail and I never do anything to my face but moisturize it. Anyways... I live with my mom and my brat of a sister Kerry... Speak of the devil...

*Closes Journal*

"Aimmie!!!! Mommy said to go do the dishes!" Kerry says rolling her eyes. And she's only 10!!! Ugh!

" Get out you little brat! You're old enough to do them yourself!!!" I yell.

"Mommmmmyyyyy!!!!!" Kerry screamed. My mom walks in with puffy eyes.

"GET YOUR ARSE UP AND DO THE DISHES!!!!!" My mom yelled. I flinched at the smell of her breath. She's been drinking again. Ever since she lost her job, she's been drinking. And she is now blinded by the alcohol and my little devil sister.

"Mom," i say gently, " You're drunk. Go lay down and I'll get you some water."

"NO!!! I'M THE MOTHER IN THIS HOUSE AND YOU WILL DO AS I SAY!!!" My mom yelled again. She losses her balance and holds on to the bar of my bed.

"If dad was h-----" I start to say but my mom cuts me off.

"If dad what? I wish I never met your dad and just went straight to Benson and then I would only have Kerry!!!" She said that plenty of times before. But this time, the way she said it. The way she looked at me with disgust. I opened my mouth to say something but no words came out.

"Aweee... Lil Aimmie gone mute?" My mother teased. I get up from the bed but she pushes me back down.

"Where the heck do you think you're going?" She said in my face.

"Out." I mumbled and slightly pushed her. But because of the alchol, she fell to the floor.

"AIMMIE DESTINY PARKER! GET YOUR LITTLE ARSE BACK HERE!!!!" My mom yelled trying to stand up but tumbling back down again. I grabbed my hoodie and made sure that i had my iPhone and wallet, and ran out the door. As I ran, a cold breeze pushed me. My eyes swell up and I begin to cry. Not even 3 minutes after i left the house, it starts to rain. Guess I'm not the only one feeling sorry for my arse...My dad is probably sobbing his eyes out. My dad died last year at a bank robbery. And that was just another excuse to get drunk and bring guys home. As I put the song " Put The Blame On Me" by Akon, a car splashes by in a nearby puddle and soaks me. Aggravated, I continue to walk and get splashed by 3 cars and one of the cars was driven by a junior and splashed me on purpose. Just as i pulled one ear bud out of my ear, i heard another car was about to drive past me, i tried to jump out of the way, but i was too late. And i was splashed with yet another car. Giving up, i hung my hand into my hands and cried. My legs trembled and i fell to the wet ground. The person driving must've pulled into reverse because i heard the same car parked next to me and the guy putting down the passenger window and yelling out of it...

"You okay?" The guy spoke cautiously." Do you need a lift?"

"Nope. I'm good." I reply shakily. He then got out of the car and sat next to me. I huffed the said, " You're going to get wet."
