Century|Chapter 2

Eleanor's POV

Sitting beside my bed. There she is. Resting in my bed. Again. It's night but my kind is still outside to kill some creature who dare to enter our town.

Jane is looking at my window but I can see her yellow eyes through the glass window. I look at Phoebe.

Why did she mention about my father? What did she know about him? I haven't seen my father like 9 years now. The last time I saw him, leaving me in the cabin that he built in the middle of the woods.

I still visiting the cabin but in secret. Only I knew the cabin exist in the woods. Still waiting for my father to get me in that cabin because this town is hell.

"Why are you here in this town? Why brought you here? " Jane said. I realize that she can read my mind.

"Because someone brought me here. " I didn't think about someone or the one who brought me here because that will be remain a mystery to others.

"If you think about this town as he'll, why are you still here? " she asked again.

"Because I think that's the only way to repay that person who brought me here. " I can control my mind or to block them because I trained myself when I found out that they can read minds.

"By killing the creature? To kill us? " I shook my head.

"No, to protect my kind and if I have a choice, I will leave in peace but I don't have a choice. " I stood up and smiled at her. "Maybe tomorrow they will rest and leave it to the hunters what they are doing right now. I apologize but they are just making sure that our kind are safe. " She nod and I ran downstairs. I sat on the chair and look outside.

I didn't realize that my eyes are slowly closing because of the tiredness. It's a long day.

"Michelle ... Wake up" I felt a hard push in my shoulder and I automatically opened my eyes and look at the person who is trying to wake me up.

"What is it, Julia? " I almost shout at her and stood up. I can see that she is looking at someone.

I looked at the person the one she is looking at. It's Jane. "Who is she? " Julia asked.

"She is Jane. " I don't know if I should tell Julia who Jane really is. "This is Julia, Jane. " I walked past them "Is Karla awake? " I ran upstairs.

"Who is Karla? Michelle!" I heard Julia. I smirked at her. I can sense that she followed me.

Can I tell her? I turned around and I know Jane can read my mind. She just nod. "Ahm... Julia. I will talk to you later on. " I walk towards the bed and sit in edge of the bed.

"Who is she? " Julia ask. I looked at her.

"She is Karla. " She looked at me confused.

"Who are they, Michelle? " I look at Karla.

"They are the one that I talking about yesterday. "

"What are you talking about, Michelle? " I looked at Jane. I trust her. Don't worry, she's a hunter like me and I know she will be in shock if she found out that not every creature that she know is a... Monster. Jane just nod and smiled.

"The creature that I'm talking about who helped me. They are vampires" I said and I can tell she is telling me like I'm a crazy person.

"She is not crazy. " Julia turned around to face Jane. "She is telling the truth. I know you can't believe it because of our eyes but... Like she said to you yesterday. We are different. " She let her eyes turned into a bright yellow eyes.
