Lost Sisters

Prologue

The nurses and doctors were running around the room as the paramedics rushed in a family who had just been in an accident. Elissa, Carlissa and Victor Jupiter. The Jupiterfamily was rushed to the surgery room. Victor, the father of the 3 year old twins Elissa and Carlissa was in critical condition. Victor's wife Lea was immediately contacted by the hospital.

They couldn't find the person who had caused the accident. The NYPD suspects this was a hit and run situation. Minutes later Lea and her sister Maria entered the emergency room. Lea was having a breakdown and Maria was comforting her sister. The doctors and the police had informed them about the current situation and they were told to wait until they were brought out of surgery. The twins surgery had gone smoothly and they were awake and well. Victor's surgery however, didn't go as smoothly as planned.

Victor was severely injured and had lost a lot of blood. Victor's blood type was O+ so it was quite hard to find that specific blood type. They only found a donor an hour after he was brought into the surgery room. Victor's brother had donated the blood for him as he was the only positive match.

A few hours later, Victor was out of surgery but he was in a coma. He had 40% chance of waking up. And indeed the odds were in his favour. He woke up a few days later with only a slight headache. He was allowed to return home after a week of normal procedures.

When he returned, Lea's family had blamed the accident on Victor. Lea's father, Michael Hannigan was a powerful man and he had forced them to file a divorce. Victor was sent to Florida and was never heard from again. Lea was left with her daughter Carlissa while Elissa was taken by Victor. She promised to give her love, care and guidance to her baby girl who is now the love of her life.

After that, Victor had turned to drugs and alcohol as a comfort for his broken heart. But no matter how severe his addiction was, he never harmed his daughter and had always provided food and shelter for Elissa. 5 years after his addiction he had realised his mistakes and decided to be sober. He entered a support group for 2 years and once he could control his addiction he got a job with the CIA and became very successful to support his family.

Back in Manhattan , Lea was suffering depression. She locked herself in her room and ignored Carlissa's cries. Her heart was broken. She knew none of this was Victor's fault. But Michael was powerful. If they didn't file the divorce, Michael could've ruined Victor's life. For 2 years she locked herself in her room until one day someone came to Lea's door to tell her that Michael had passed away. She was never really that close with her father. And he was the reason Victor and Lea had to be separated so Lea was quite relieved and sad when she heard the news.

When Michael passed away, Lea had to take over his Hotel Industry . She became rich and famous and she was well known all around America as the young entrepreneur who single handed-ly managed her late father's company. For a few years she has thought about the possibilities to reach out to Victor but she didn't know how.

So now the both of them bury themselves in their jobs and couldn't care less about their love life, because they both know that the other was the only love of their life.Their daughters grew up to become beautiful women.

Elissa, the older twin, was fearless. She took up self defence when she was 5 and now is a powerful street fighter. Sometimes, she would tag along with Victor when he goes on missions. She is loud, funny and quite rude one might say, she prefers the term ' doesn't give a damn'. Now people call her Ely.

Carlissa however was quite the opposite, she was top of her class, she was a straight A student and she is going to be the upcoming valedictorian. Her boyfriend, Ashton, is the captain of the football team. She got an offer by Lee Anne ,the famous photographer, to become a swimsuit model. She follows her mother to all the tea parties, gala's and she lives the luxurious life. She's polite, well-manered and the perfect daughter. She is now rather known as Carly.

And this is a story about the good sister, Carlissa R. Jupiter.
