It’s been 3 months since the boys left for their tour with One Direction and you can’t stop thinking about Luke. Everything that you do just seems to remind you of him. He gave you his sweater to wear while he’s away so you still have a piece of him with you when you go to sleep. You’re about to go shower when you hear your phone buzzing in your pocket. You take it out and immediately look at the screen.

“Facetime from Luke”

You could feel yourself smiling uncontrollably but you tried to hide it. You quickly answer to be greeted by a load of ‘hiiii’s. You giggled before replying. “Hey you weird kids” they all smiled and started telling you about the tour. “There were so many fans asking about you” You paused for a minute to take in what Ashton had just told you. There were fans asking about me? How do they know who I am? I shrugged it off, hoping they’d just got the wrong name. “I’m sure they just got confused, no big deal.” You smiled and they continued telling you about the tour. Their stories had you crying with laughter.

“So you told me you had a little surprise for me..?”

You said, concentrating on the screen and their faces. You were nervous for what they wanted to tell you. They never kept anything from you, so for them to do this, was very unusual. They all tried to keep a serious face, but ended up bursting out laughing.

“You said you wanted to be with us on the tour, right? So we were talking to our tour manager and he said that we could fly you out here. The plane tickets should be arriving soon and you’re due to fly out next weekend!”

They all cheered as you sat, completely in shock. You didn’t expect them to plan something as big as this. You never expected them to plan anything alone regardless. They were so lame at surprises. How did they manage to pull this off? You looked back at the camera. “Are you guys being serious?” You were smiling so much and they knew that this was something that you’d wanted to do ever since the day that they left. They all nodded. You squealed with excitement and they giggled like little school kids. “Thank you so much, expect lots of cuddles when I get there okay?” They smiled and nodded, secretly high fiving each other without you knowing. Ashton, Michael and Calum disappeared from the camera and you were left alone with Luke. “This made my day so much better, you know? Seeing your beautiful face then being told I was coming to see you on tour, this is gonna be so good!” You couldn’t contain your excitement and it was pretty obvious to everyone. You spent another half hour talking to Luke on Facetime when you heard Liz’s voice calling for him. “Okay, so we’ve gotta go get ready for our show tonight now, but I hope that made your day better beautiful.” You nod, slightly blushing at the fact that Luke had just called you beautuiful. “It did, have a good show sweetie!” You blew a kiss at the camera before ending the call. You had so many butterflies in your stomach, it made you feel sick with nerves. You looked through your wardrobe at your clothes. ‘Ugh, none of these are very summery. I need to go shopping’ you thought to yourself before grabbing one of Luke’s oversized sweaters and a pair of sweatpants and heading to the bathroom.

*A week later*

It was the day you were due to fly out to Los Angeles to join the boys on the One Direction tour. You had been a huge fan of One Direction for a little over a year now and you were going to be able to hang out with them in only a matter of hours. You were so excited but so nervous at the same time.

You quickly rushed over to your suitcase, double checking you had packed everything you’d need for your trip. “Make up, check. Phone charger, check. Ugh, I have everything I need” you say to yourself as you fasten up your case, putting on a lock to make sure it didn’t come undone while you were on the plane. You’d had it for a while now and had personalized it to your own taste, band patches and badges stuck onto the front. You had never went anywhere important enough to use it, so now was your chance. You made your way downstairs, carrying your suitcase in one hand and your carry-on bag in the other. You put down your bag and dialled Luke’s number. He answered within a matter of seconds.
