A KISS THAT STARTED FOREVER (One Shot)

I was looking at him from afar ..

His smile, so sweet .. His eyes, shining like stars ..

Ever since Donghae and I became close friends, I already liked him. But I was never sure if he liked me too.

We've been friends for how many years now, but I never told him how I really feel.

"Yah! Donghae!" I called him.

"There you are Hyukkie, I was looking all over for you. I have to get your opinion"

He seems to be excited. What could it be?

He opened his bag and took out a small box. It looks like a gift.

"Look at this, i bought it for someone very special to me." He said.

It's a silver bracelet. There was something engraved on it, but i'm not sure what it was.

Who could that "special" someone be?

I never bothered to ask. I might just get hurt.

"Whoever receives that bracelet will surely like it." I told him.

"Chincha? I hope you're right. Umm. I have to go now. I have to prepare for my date." Donghae said.

I was really sad when i heard what Donghae said.

I went straight home. I was really exhausted, so I decided to rest early.

* ring *

Someone's calling. I checked the time, it's 11:45pm.

Donghae's calling. What made him call at this hour?

"Ne?"

"Hyukkie, come down quick. I'm standing here at your front gate."

Donghae? At the front gate?

What could be the problem?

I opened the front gate and there he was standing.

"What are you doing here? And you said you have a date tonight."

"Come with me." he said

I quickly changed my clothes and we headed to a fancy restaurant.

"Whoah! You planned all of this?" I asked

"Yup! Coz that person is so so so so so special, and deserves a special treat."

"And where is that special person you're talking about?"

"Hyukkie?"

"Ne?"

"I'm sorry if I woke you up to come with me here."

"That's okay. I was also curious, that's why I came with you."

"Hyukkie, I lied to you .. I don't know how to say this .."

I looked into his eyes. He was looking straight at me. I looked at his face .. He looks like an angel.

"What is it that you want to tell me?" I asked

"Hyukkie, the gift that i showed you .. And this dinner .."

My heart was beating so fast ..

"They're for you .. "

I stared at him. Tears filled my eyes.

He wiped my tears and got up from his seat and knelt in front of me.

He held my right hand and kissed it.

"Don't cry my dear. You're the most special person for me. Because I love you. I love you so much and I can't keep it to myself anymore. I want to tell you this even if I don't have any idea what your reaction will be. All I want is for you to know what I feel. You're my everything Hyukkie."

I stayed silent, but tears kept falling from my eyes.

I don't know what to say. He loves me and I feel the same.

"Lee Donghae! I wanna tell you something too. I loved you since the day we became friends."

He was shocked after he heard what I said.

He hugged me tight. I hugged him back.

"I Love you Lee Hyukjae"

"I Love you Lee Donghae" 

Donghae took out the bracelet and gave it to me. He also has one too.

I looked at the bracelet and our names were engraved on it.

Donghae's eyes met mine, our face getting closer. And then he kissed my forehead, down to the tip of my nose, and ended on my lips.

It was the kiss that started forever. Forever with Donghae.
