        So um... This is a Skylox One Shot, based off a picture in the instagram community by @breadlox,  Sorry it took me a while to get on this, but I didn't have a lot of time to work on this until now!

        Enjoy!

             Adam’s POV

            At first, I thought someone must have dragged me into some sort of void from the way I was falling. Then I hit something hard – not that I felt any pain, which helped me realize this was a dream. But I felt something was wrong. Something bad was going to happen.

            “Hello?” I asked to the space around me. Nothing but an echo followed. I walked around a little bit, hoping to find something. But I should have been careful with what I wished for, as a bright light made me wince. I had to squint to see anything, even if I still had my sunglasses in this… wherever I was. I saw an outline of a person, and I could tell his eyes were the source of light.

He laughed, sounding like nails on a chalkboard. “You have nothing to fear… at least not now. As long as you help me, I’ll leave you be.”

            “What do you want?!” I yelled angrily.

            “All in due time, Adam,” he responded. “Just remember, I’ll be here to… help… you soon.”

            I bolted upright in my bed and gasped, sighing in relief to see the slightly dirty white wall of my bedroom in front of me. “Just a dream,” I whispered. I usually had a hard time getting to sleep, let alone falling back to it, so I decided to take a walk. I slipped by a few of my friend’s rooms and made it to the fire escape on the side of our apartment building. The cool night air hit my face, helping me think a bit clearer. I gripped the rusting railing, hoping my fear of heights wouldn’t affect my thinking.

            The dream wasn’t the only thing on my mind. My best friend and I might be a little more than friends. While we thought our friends would be ok with it, we were afraid to admit it. So we thought it would be best to keep low, and make sure he kept his relationship with his girlfriend.

            “Whatcha doing up so late?” I heard a voice behind me ask.

            “I could ask the same,” I replied. I heard Ty behind me approach as the fire escape creaked.

            “Lovely view isn’t it?” he asked me, coming to the right of me. I nodded. Lights from skyscrapers everywhere lit up the New York night, and accompanied the crescent moon nicely. Because we were on the fifteenth floor, you could hear the cars roaring faintly below. We didn’t have the safest, or the biggest apartment, but it was perfect.

            “Man, how I want to dump that w****,” I heard Ty mutter. His hair was ruffled like he was having a rough night too, still wearing a white V-neck and light grey jeans from that day.

             I put my arm around his waist and kissed him on the cheek “Alright. Then do. Dump her and we can tell everyone that we’re together,” I murmured.

            He smiled a little bit. “Ok. I’ll do it tomorrow.”

            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
            I yawned, feeling a bit groggy. Saturday, finally a day off from school. I woke up super late, reading two P.M. on my clock. I threw on a grey long sleeve and some dark grey jeans, because all my other stuff needed to be washed. I opened my door to go see if Ty was still here or not, even though he had nowhere to be, but you never know. I walked down the hall and knocked; no response. I opened the door only to be stopped in my tracks. I saw Ty and his girlfriend, in short shorts and a shirt barely covering her boobs, making out on his gaming chair. Breaking up my a**, I thought.
